Oh I'll be dumping too, I mined up 20k early on. The giveaways are likely a way to get more nodes hosting the brickchain, and yes attracting bagholders. Without an exchange listing there aren't many ways to get people interested by tempting them with sweet sweet gains. Giveaways are one way.
