Why is it that literally every other group of people on the planet have found a way to make money using Africa but the Africans themselves can't figure it out?
It sounds racist to say that but just think about it. Whether it's a Chinese person, American person, British person, a mesixan, or even a Caribbean person - just throw them into the middle of the Congo and they will thrive. But you stick a native Congolese in there and they can't figure out how to even wipe their own ass.

That's pretty much what the entire slave trade was. A bunch of war lords and local leaders realized they could make bank selling their people to the white man, so they did. It made many Africans rich.

almost EVERYTHING that happens in history is predetermined by geography.
Africa is as beautiful as it is lethal. Diseases, Lions, Gorillas, crocodiles, etc.
African natives are nowhere near the top of their food chain, because of the things listed above, and more.
Farming is also crucial for civilisation, and I could imagine how hard it is to farm a staple crop in such conditions, while at the same time having to worry about panthers and crocodiles ripping you to shreds.
There's a reason our ancestors left Africa, because it's so fucking hard to live there.
