Charity is against rational economic self interest, something that Capitalism rewards explicitly, Charity's a bug in the system, and a result of human morality, helped along by christian belief (although clearly not completely formed by it)
Christ would likely be in favour of a welfare state within a capitalist frame work, where the people, due to their belief in god, don't act in total rational economic self interest.

Communism is a corruption of Christian teachings, reapplied to a materialist worldview. The "Jesus sounds like a socialist" meme is actually a product of socialists adopting pseudo-christian moralistic rhetoric. Which is really funny considering that, after Stirner BTFO'd him, Marx abandoned pretty much any pretense of morality in his philosophy.
You can use this is a guide to differentiate an ignorant follower communist from a genuinely intelligent and dangerous one. Moralistic communists and socialists don't even understand their own ideology.
