Fall of The West

Are we witnessing the fall/decline of The West or is it just a meme? Pic related

It's not really a cycle. Weak men cause the fall and there's no generation left that would make their civilization great.

India never really stood a chance against the British and France, even if the Mughal Empire was in decline as a result of the growth of local aristocratic power. They just couldn't match their wealth and technological advantages.

But pic related would be an argument for the fall of the west not being a meme. Hard times in central asia created Babur, a strong men, who invaded weak India.

Aurengzab was unironically the best ruler of the Mughal Empire.

Babur's success as a general mainly comes from having gunpowder. The Delhi Sultanate was on it's last legs and was getting fucked by everybody.

Akbar had good generals and he was fair to everybody which consolidated the empire but he didn't do much more than that.

Aurangzeb was more concerned with the welfare of civilians. He came in a time where the Mughal empire was declining because of various weak rulers and so the stories of massacres that we get are because of Aurangzeb's obsession with Stability and Law and Order. Anyone who threatened to disturb that resulted in a harsh punishment.

But even his massacres were pretty tame compared to Akbar's mountain of skulls of Hemu's army.

There would have been some loss but as a whole even with all their advantages the balance was in India's favour until the Third Battle of Panipat.

If there was a consolidated rule it would have been similar to the Opium wars where only parts would be conceded.

I think the Long Peace is a modern Antonine Rome, and things can only get worse from here.

Doesn't have to be cyclic for that particular group. The next group of people would over take the failed state and either destroy them or absorb them.

Western civilization has already died we are in the transition period into the Global civilization

Into the islamic civilization you mean.

If we are, the fall of The West has been ongoing for over 2000 years. I think we can dismiss it as a meme at this point.
How is the Global civilization not Western civilization?

The West fell in 1453. It wouldn't be picked back up until the Industrial revolution. Thank your British overlords.

>Aurangzeb was more concerned with the welfare of civilians.
Yeah. First Mughal emperor to officially ban Sati.

>How is the Global civilization not Western civilization?
nigga u srs?
This is like saying how is america not rome

It's rare for a historical revisionist to dare claim the early modern period was a time of decline for Europe.

Europe wouldn't incline properly until a few more centuries

The Mughal Empire also caused a huge decline pretty much everywhere. It was good in that it was stable but it was still a typical Islamic empire wew.

Explain how Constantinople falling was such a hit to Europe it couldn't recover for centuries.

Not him, but it fucked up the Balkans and other parts of Europe for a long time.
> t. balkan nigger

America is more semitic than western

>it's another "brainlets think they have figured out what generations of thinkers could not" episode

dude faustian civilization lmao

Spengler figured shit out 100 years ago.

It's not an actual theory of history though, just post-fact bullshit.

You mean pre-fact.
>predicted nazi Germany would last less than two decades
>predicted the erosion of nationalism
>predicted the pussification of cultural values, "western" more or less becoming interchangeable with neutered faggot
>predicted communism in Russia would end within 100 years (he wrote it in 1917) because communism is a western ideology incompatible with Russian culture
>predicted the current refugee crisis

None of that has to do with the picture.

I wasn't talking about that picture. Spengler's model was not cyclical.
