Reminder that the rest of the world is violent, chaotic, confused and unstable

Reminder that the rest of the world is violent, chaotic, confused and unstable.

China is moderate, spiritual, certain and enduring.

Chinese civilization has existed long before all other civilizations and it will continue long after the rest have crumbled to dust.

Europe, the Americas, Africa, the Middle East, India - they are but footnotes, stray strands in the great tapestry of monolithic China.

All of such will be seen as simple blimps in the future. China will not. China will persist.

Not since the cultural revolution. Thanks Mao, for destroying thousands of years of religious and spiritual tradition.

For entire millennia China, like Persia, had to deal with the best of the best going towards its soil to loot its riches.

This should not be seen as a negative but just a simple, small display of the glory and superiority of China in contrast to the world.

It would've been destroyed by capitalism and materialism anyways. See Christianity in the west

>Chinese civilization has existed long before all other civilizations

Stopped caring about your point right here. This is patently false. The Xia were eating people after bronze age civilizations had risen and collapsed in the Near East.

It would at least exist under capitalism, even if the capitalist system would attempt to profit off it as it does everything else. Christianity has been cheapened in the west yet there remains a devout spiritual core to it, the traditions still exist and deeply religious communities still exist. China uprooted all of that under Mao, they lost their spiritual core and they can never get it back.

I disagree, I don't consider mega churches and televangelicals to be a devout spiritual core. The only spiritual people left here are Mormons and Amish. And China has Buddhist versions of those people too with small ass isolated villages in the mountains

>The only spiritual people left here are Mormons and Amish.
the soldiers who fight for their country while praising God aren't spiritual?

They are, but they're a dying breed and you know it.
The Chinese got rid of their spirituality in a state sanctioned campaign, we've gotten rid of ours through capitalism and the free market. Functionally there is no difference except for how long it'll take for it to disappear.

>I don't consider mega churches and televangelicals to be a devout spiritual core.
Neither do I and that's not who I was talking about. There are many deeply religious communities still in this country, you should visit some towns in the south. Especially black communities. They are still very much organized around traditional protestant churches.

Reminder that China's history isn't periods of dynastic unification punctuated by periods of chaotic disunity but the other way around. China's spent far more time fractured than united, and generally major cultural achievements happened during these periods of disunity, whereas all the imperial dynasties did was peak early before declining for the remainder of their existence.

Bump

>All of such will be seen as simple blimps in the future

Blimps are awesome.

>Laughing_semi-mythical_shaman-kings.jpg.

>Taiping rebellion

Remember the time China fucking imploded and had to be put back together again by one dominant dynasty through war? Remember when that happened like 5 times?
Remember when an Emperor killed himself and one of his whores took over?

>China uprooted all of that under Mao, they lost their spiritual core and they can never get it back

They do have it though. The myth of Mao destroying all Chinese culture is a complete farce.

You want "real" spiritual destruction go to any African country where all indigenous folk regions got raped by Christianity and to lesser extent Islam (because in Africa the latter is much more syncretic).

African religion is still going strong, even if they call themselves “Christians” they still adhere to their old practices, rituals, and superstitions, that is the ones which aren’t just blatant unapologetic pagans.

>comparing Ch*na to Persia

>Chinese civilization has existed long before other civilizations

Lol no, even Greek civilization is older

China has balkanized itself more times than you can count, it just has always remained culturally chinese. If i had a penny for every time a schizophrenic Chinese prophet lead a massive holy war against a declining Chinese empire which ultimately failed yet still directly contributed to said empire's eventual balkanization, I'd have six pennies.

Which doesn't sound like a lot, but it's still weird that it's happened six times.

>China is moderate, spiritual, certain and enduring.

>Chinese civilization
Was wiped out by Mao and his cronies.

>the soldiers who fight for their country while praising God aren't spiritual?
They directly strive to break one of the 10 commandments.

Look up "bile bears". Modern China a disgusting, retarded culture.

>the people that skin dogs alive in the street and pollute their environment more than anywhere else are super spiritual shaolin monks

No. Average Chinese people are soulless robots.

Chinese civilization will outlast western civilization. But Islamic civilization and bantu civilization will probably outlast Chinese civilization. Going by demographic and migration trends.

Ying and Yang.

Without chaos, order becomes stagnancy.
Without order, chaos becomes destruction.

Chinese folk religion and ancestor worship is coming back especially in the south.

WE

China gave us the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution.

I'd like to see a peasant farmer with 12 teeth left beat him

yes the chinese made some nice artwork and sculptures over the last two millennia, but that doesn't excuse their borderline-autistic personalities, lack of empathy and civic duty, disgusting hygiene standards, total ignorance of history and politics, revisionism about the superior societies and achievements of the west and, worst of all, their communist hivemind

have a nice day guys
