Have you guys ever quit a job, regretted it horribly and then called and asked for it back?

Have you guys ever quit a job, regretted it horribly and then called and asked for it back?

Because that's what I'm honestly considering doing right now.

just dont quit your job bro. then you wont have to call them back

What was so good about it, that would make you quit and come crawling back. You'll have no upward movement, since you're a Judas now.

I only focused on the downsides, but not the positives. The people there were very nice and it had more hidden perks than I had thought.

Help biz!

>left my job 6 months ago, could barely afford rent, decent food etc
>got into crypto not long after and made 40k since
>can make more money doing this than i ever could with my resume
>have money but now a neet shutin and crave for human attention

jobs are more than just money, were basically hardwired into needing them.

that's beta as fuck dude

have some self respect

Teach me to make money with crypto and I'll be your best friend.

Is that you, call center user?

People need to work and collaborate in some capacity

or else they go insane

really? how good of a friend are you? seriously considering...

Yes user hello. I regret leaving.

he's been posting these threads daily since we convinced him to quit, this is the reason I wake up in the mornings

this

Come on guys it's not funny. This is my life

that's the funniest fucking part! kek

ID keeps changing because phoneposting

Story?

Every job I quit or was fired from I was really happy to be gone.

One phenomenon I have found is that in those last weeks before quitting or being fired, work actually goes well, making you reconsider your decision.

obviously is funny man, i dont mean been bad btw, but is EZ to catch the irony, i would like to have some good advice but i dont... sorry

not to laugh at anons situation but link to original thread please?

Nothing really special happened. I started a job and I didn't like it very much. Felt really awkward about leaving so early, asked biz if it was okay. They assured me it was, I quit now we're here.

just start sucking dicks for $1 per dick

just hope you dont take the same Veeky Forums advice when it comes to trading or your in a world of trouble.

leaving a job you hate is fine, just dont make the same mistake as me and leave it too long before you try get another one and end up stuck in a rut.

We don't care about your call center job. Go away.

What have you done...

This.

Also to be clear: neither do your call center bosses.

It literally doesn't matter to anyone whether you go back to them and ask for it back. It's completely irrelevant.

Have you ever regretted repeatedly posting the same thread to Veeky Forums?

A terrible mistake, man.

I'd legitimately like to talk to you about stuff and things. I'm in the same boat, buddy.

>tfw i would want a crypto buddy just to exchange pointers while we go out drinking, no teaching required
>odds are we are separated by half a world since i live in a shithole
Hope you find happiness

that's why we have these computers. silly boi

Savage...

Well, if it makes you feel any better I just went back to an old job today that I told myself I wouldn't go back to. I quit three years ago so I guess it isn't the same situation.

Do you think I can ask them for my job back or should I just ramp up efforts to find an even better one now?

They probably think you're mentally unstable (let's face it, you probably are) and won't give you your job back if you had any kind of responsibilities.

So new job it is?

I got a new job with a 40% raise, no healthcare costs, and no shitwork, so no.

Just look for a new one. If you go back you'll just be making threads on here asking if it's okay to quit a job after you just begged to have it back.

Kek that would be hilarious but nah I wouldn't man. They're still hiring should I just ask for it back...

Depends if your skill set was replaceable with an immediate hire, internally, or just by dividing your job's duties among several people - internally or through new hires. If you say yes, you're SOL because I imagine being the Veeky Forums posting sperg we all are, you probably didn't give a 2 weeks notice, you didn't set up another gig beforehand, and you're posting for help on Veeky Forums.

Even if they do take you back, you're fucked because the management will view you as unreliable and probably have you train a new guy that'll replace you once he's fully up to spec on training.

You've gotta tell us more about your occupation, wage, skill availability... we need more info to see if it's worth your while going back

Just have "fuck you" money, or another job lined up

The spics and women have taken most of the jobs you'd be working if society wasn't fucked. Any job that any slhlep off the street is most likely going to be shit.

14 years ago I worked in a deli at a supermarket. I knew some guy who who worked in produce. Couple months ago I find him collecting shopping carts at a supermarket a few miles away. Dudes in his early 60s. Depressing as fuck. He was a shit bag though.

It was a callcenter

The "spics" have only taken slave labour, let's be honest here man.

I don't think you can, unless you have a very good reason and only if your manner of quitting was in the most professional way. You'd probably also need to be on good terms with your boss. But given that a job is usually the only thing that keeps someone from being homeless, if you need it bad enough, there is absolutely no shame in going back and asking.

Storytime: had HR come in to fire someone once. It had gotten bad. Called HR a cunt and stormed out, publicly, in front of everyone. Asked for his job back six motnhs later cause he needed a job and ahd gotten fired.

There's truly no harm in asking.

It wasn't really the best terms... I feel like shit over it they were extremely nice to me and I treated them terribly by leaving.

The job might not have been amazing but the company was good.

I feel like since they're hiring they could still hire me back... or equally they could just decide that my behaviour shows im a bad future employee.

this is what I fear...
have you tried making friends in social apps and shit?

you have weak hands, why would you short a good job

Like I've said in other threads, take cc courses on whatever the fuck you want you will make friends and get pussy

I genuinely wish I could make that sort of money with crypto but I have the shittiest luck with holds.

Ive heard Welding Careers will take fags like you.

Thanks for the blog update man.
You should get a tripcode

Your position is probably already filled.

What have you got to lose?

If they quiz you over why you quit, say you had some anxiety issues you've since resolved or something.

Move. What are you looking in a call center job? This is sub human level. Look for something better

I quit cuz I thought it was greener on the other side. Joined a competitor thinking I was hot shit. Turns out work is just work so I bailed on the second day to previous job. Was quite an eye opener.

Why do you keep posting about quitting your job and regretting it every day lol

There are other places to meet people and socialise. Go to the gym, the pub, find a club for a hobby or some shit.

i did with my first job and it fucking sucked. i learned by my second one to just burn bridges.

I'd get a different job honestly.

Damn. I am basically you prior to quitting right now. Need to check myself before I ruin a good thing.

>jobs are more than just money, were basically hardwired into needing them
Spoken like a true (ex) wagecuck.

I have.
Left on good terms. New boss ending up being a cunt, went back to old job. It was like nothing happened.

why do you crave human attention? working on figuring that out might be an alternate way to help
