Why is it called "The Russian Revolution" when it was organized and funded by Germans, not Russians? During his journey from Switzerland to Russia in 1917, Lenin received an armed escort of German soldiers under the command of Erich Ludendorf, who stayed with him and acted as his bodyguards. He received funding from the German government to create chaos and undermine Russian nationalism. Lenin was never elected by Russians; he overthrew the provisional government by force after losing the Bolsheviks lost the election of November 1917.

Why is it called "The American Revolution" when it was organized and funded by French, not Americans? During his journey from the British, Washington received an armed guard of French soldiers under the command of Marquis de Lafayette, who stayed with him and acted as his bodyguards and advisers. He received funding from the French government to create chaos and undermine British loyalism in the colonies. Washington was never elected by Americans; he overthrew the colonial government by force after losing the colonists had rightfully had some rights taken away for rebellious activity.

The metaphor breaks down because Washington was elected, not once but twice, and then refused to run for a third term. Could you imagine somebody like Lenin voluntarily stepping down from power?

>implying an aboslute monarchist holding titles spreading out all the way to some random duchy in denmark is a cause russian nationalists should fight for

All the German officials did was let Lenin and his men pass through German-held territory because they knew they were dissidents that might weaken Russia (with which they were still at war, you know). They neither organized nor funded the Bolsheviks.

>organized and funded by French, not Americans
Ahahahahaha, what the fuck are you smoking...

i was talking about the revolution itself, during which he was not elected and led a rebellion against the british. anyway it was a shitpost made out of jest

?? You realize the French monarchy bankrupted itself supporting the americans?

The Tsar was not longer in power by the time Lenin entered the picture. The Bolsheviks never overthrew the Czar, the Russian liberal elite did that. What the Bolsheviks did was overthrow the Provisional government that was created after the Czar's abdication. In a very real sense, Lenin destroyed Russia's chance to become an actual republic.

hmm

probably because it was a revolution that occurred in russia and overthrew the russian government?

>Kerensky was continuing an immensely unpopular war and ruling with no popular mandate, but he totally would've held real elections in the future
>please ignore that he couldn't even hold onto an important position in the anti-Bolshevik resistance

>((((((Russian """""""Revolution""""""""))))))

>bankrupted
It added to it, it wasnt the underling reason, unless you wana drop some sources stating otherwise. From what I know it was a long time coming that the French treasury went down.

Regardless of one's thoughts about communism, Lenin is the only non-wrestler I know that was able to rock that specific form of balding and not look bad.

No, they did hurt themselves financially fighting the English (and vice versa) but it was part of a much wider war, actually a World War. Should be considered the first such war but currently is not.

t. retards

If it were not for France and Spain, the United States would not exist today.

Quality post.

Why is it called the Russian Revolution when the vast majority of the Leaders and organizers were JEWS?
