I have been patient, I have listened to his stupid ass problems,

That's not it. He was fired from his last job but has specialised knowledge in a certain process. He recently got sober and was given this opprtunity as a second chance to teach me that specialised knowledge so I could leave the area and go to a more ideal location closer to Homebase and continue to make company rich.
