In this situation I would seal up the interior and hold on for dear life. If you lock down all of the hatches you should be nearly waterproof, that with the foam in the hull should allow you to float in the event of a capsizing. At this point you're either sealing yourself into a watery casket or saving your life to weather out the storm.
