that's not green, friendo
Just got done with the 2nd month. You're not green and neither am I.

kek
>been lifting for a year
>Still can't diddle lmao3pl8
Green mens you've reached proficient
better than me
deadlift - 315 1rm
squat 235 - 5rm
bench - 140 5rm
ohp - 95 5rm
My bench and ohp are so shitty what do, I've been lifting for ~5 months more like 8 in total but I took a bunch of 3 month breaks
>he doesnt have a world class spine
clearly are doing ss
No I'm not. I'm doing greyskull. I'm going to do it for another month then switch to a ppl
>Get on bench
>Spread hands to end of grips for a wide grip
>Breathe in deep
>Unrack
>Lower bar, taking slow and shallow breaths
>Touch bar to chest
>Hold breath
>Raise bar to starting position
The breathing is important. By having your lungs full of air, you prevent that crushing feeling when you unrack the weight. As you lower the bar, continuously give your body fresh supplies of oxygen. When you're pushing up, don't grunt and yell. You'll run out of air, and when that happens, you'll lose energy. You do not want to inhale while pushing the weight up. Holding your breath is the best solution. As for the grip, this wide grip takes focus off the triceps and makes it a much more chest-centric exercise, making sure you're making maximum chest gains every time.
Right now your bench is light enough that you should be adding 5 pounds every day you do it. When you get into the 170-180 range, you won't be able to do that anymore. You should still be pushing yourself as hard as you can though. Never get off the bench with a dry forehead. If you are, you're not pushing yourself hard enough.
Exactly. That's blue-green; proficient is green, and advanced is yellow-green.
I don't understand this shit.
Am I supposed to put the weight for individual plates or for the whole shit, including the barbell?
Whole shit including the barbell
1pl8=1 plate on each side=45(2) plus 45 for the bar=135 lbs
2pl8=2 plates on each side=45(4) plus 45 for the bar=225 lbs
3pl8=3 plates on each side=45(6) plus 45 for the bar=315
And so on and so forth
>a bunch of 3 month breaks
fuck off liar fag
>tfw top heavy
5rm
Bench: 185
Squat: 185
Deadlift: 235
OHP: 120
Pendlay Row: 165
Somehow the fucking row is my strongest lift.
Same as you, gotta work on my dl and squat
>Been lifting from skele status 8 months ago
>still all blue/purp
Still happy with progress tho
iktf bro
>Somehow the fucking row is my strongest lift.
Your row is 165. Your bench and squat are both 20 lbs heavier than that. Your diddly is 40 lbs heavier than both of those. Clearly pendlay row isn't your strongest lift.
You know what he meant you faggot autist
Calm down m8
advanced forearms but they're still small. Hoping to turn mostly yellow by the end of summer.
almost exactly me
>tfw when underaged and lifts so advanced
147lbs 20"""16"""
>147 lbs
manlet detected
I've got some parts yellow and still blue chest .___.'
tfw 6'0 with 6'3 wingspan.
>tfw when underaged and lifts so advanced
>tfw when underaged
MODS
Still growing so it's aight
>tfw coming up on 10 months of lifting
erb's palsy is hell
>elite shoulders
>underage
>shindiggy
oh shit, any pics? no homo just curious what you look like.
I'm going to lift but I'll take one when I get back if thread is still up
Shortly after knee surgery I could still squat blue.
How can someone lift for such an amount of time and still have purple quads?
Ahh it's fine mate
Coming from 8 years as a gymnast I also love Olympic lifts so it helps
Snatch 150x4 and OHP 155x6
not sure, i do 155 x 5, but i could probably do lift more
i take it easy on legs because of my nerve damaged shoulder, i build muscle very slowly and would end up t-rex mode if i went all out on legs
here's me flexing like some kinda faggot
>Tfw completely symmetrical
not everybody makes it
That's where I hope to be by June. I'm a lot of blue right now, but I'm sure I can make it if I up my protein intake and really go at it in the gym.
Shut the fuck up. You haven't made it yet, but you're going to.
What's this called?
>search image on Google
>best guess for this image:
>muscular distrophy
Eh, I just made that pic. I'm mostly novice, and I think a little intermediate, at least in bench. Can't tell for sure because I won't have access to a real gym for 3 more weeks. I'll be posting a dank before/after pic then, look out for the Young Blaha.
Read the OP post again
Iwanttobeyellow
and you aint green opie
Really? Because I got "BBC - GCSE Bitesize: Muscle types"
factoring in weight without height kind of screws tall guys
also I wish my back wasn't shit so I could squat and deadlift more
Just fuck my shit up senpai
What even the fuck did you do?
its... beautiful
This made me laugh more than it should. Nigga got a adamantium spine and popeye forearms.
SS victim?
What the fuck...?
All I can imagine is a grown ass man throwing a weighted temper tantrum x5 on the floor.
Think about it - temper tantrum kicks? Hammies covered. Temper tantrum flailing? Core covered
>115 lb 5 rep max on OHP
>115 lb 5 rep max on Bench
God fucking damn it
>no other form of leg workouts
>mfw used to squat 225x8 and leg press 450x15, but only ride bike 30+ miles a day now
>mfw my legs are more trained and ripped than 90% of this board
>mfw this app says untrained
This app blows.
>Quads are
>weaker than the hamstings
Pepe?
My whole body is blue. Whatever still higher or tied with the average.
anyone else know this feel?
Well I put in my leg numbers i guess
I did a few months ago. It sucks man. Just wait until you get your first hint of TEAL
>average pendlay row is 250lbs
I call bullshit on this
JUST
nigga ur body a rainbow
what the fuck is wrong with you?
do you just ohp 7 days a week?
I try not to be a curlbrah but I don't think it's working out too well
Guarantee I can OHP more than you though, faggot
>only started lifting a couple weeks ago
>everything is purple
I-is that normal for newfags?
just fuck my symmetry up f.a.m.
when your OHP is limited by your grip strength
There's no "normal" for newfags. Some people start out already strong. Some people start out as literal skeletons. Others are morbidly obese. Besides, don't worry about what's "normal". Just stick to your own routine. Dedication leads to progress, and progress is really all you want. Don't worry about "you should be doing this much by this time" shit that Veeky Forums loves to talk about.
I have the best The Press in the Blue Man Group.
It's not about where you start, but rather where you end up.
Just keep going, senpai.
height/weight? I was benching 135 in hs and i was only 110 lbs
5'10 with a 6'4" wingspan. I can dunk tho
Is that the depression support group?
I only started doing SL a couple weeks ago, and mostly I was just making sure I got the proper form down.
I feel like I could go up a bit in weights than what the program recommends, but I don't want to hurt myself.
I'll keep it up. Thanks, anons.
...
I get it
mixed replies here
5'9 @ 181
my ohp is so weak it's embarrassing. But that's what I get for working out and not doing ohp ever until after I've done all the other lifts for a while
cool comment bro, hope that made u feel good
I think my stats are pretty good
this should be the mantra of Veeky Forums
routine?
pics? im 5'9" duke of manlets too. im 160lb wondering what I could look like at 180.
>euphoric.jpg
Started in December 2015
Bi's and lats are from doing GSLP with chinups/pullups instead of chinups/BB Rows
On Candito 6 week now. Probably jumped on it too early. But nothing else was working. Currently in the 5th week. Squats went well on Monday, did 3 reps.
Got Bench tomorrow
Keen
Not bad bro
Maybe might've forgot the pic
>I've been lifting for ~5 months more like 8 in total but I took a bunch of 3 month breaks
I mean, I started a year and half a go. But I've been drinking a lot of alcohol also studying full time. Not to mention I've my fair share of of injuries, and I only started deadlifting like 8 months ago.
So yeah really I've only been lifting for like 6 months. Right guys?
this shit is one of the things that skews the standards of fit
just green my shit up
5'10 170lbs
>symmetric strength
>rainbow man memes
>blue man group novices
>select few who actually lift
i'd say checking this shit sub 6 months of lifting is probably not that helpful desu senpai
Green master race reporting in.
teal isn't green. it's also not blue.
get the fuck outta here
I've finally done it, Veeky Forums. I'm now no longer weaker than literally every dyel fag who doesn't even lift.
Now I can slowly start working towards 1/2/3/4, and not have people laugh at me.
I'm gonna ride SL 5x5 until I'm on sets of 3 reps. I love the feeling of being able to lift heavy (relative...) weights.
Kill me now pls.
Herniated disks L5, L4.
Slowly getting back into deads and Squats
Fuckin traps
