I had some of the best gains I've ever gotten training in 30-40 minute sessions. There's a lot to be said for losing the fluff and training the bang for your buck movements as often and aggressively as you can.

Not always the ideal, mind.

anabolic window kicks in after 60-75 mins of heavy lifting so if you arent back home and getting food in that timeframe you are getting subpar gains

the time you spend in the gym is entirely dependent on the style of training you do

you could be in there for 3 hours doing some bodybuilding bulking routine or 20 minutes doing some high frequency low intensity type thing.

Maybe it does. I don't tend to have anything to do with PTs if I can avoid it.

Thing is, it works when used with good exercises. If you had forty minutes a day to train and you spent it all murdering one or two big exercises per session you'd get shit done.
