Will improving my OHP make me better at my bench press?

Will improving my OHP make me better at my bench press?

Maybe. Depends why your bench isn't improving.

Correct, its The Press™

yes it is

It's also not the The Press™

No it isn't

Nope, it was clearly a jerk.

Klokov is strong but even he can't OHP 220+kg

Yes. Front delt and tricep involvement in bench is seriously underrated.

yes

depends, how much do you The Press™ and bench press currently?

>Just hit 135 press for 3 reps
>Bench has been stuck at 165 for 5 reps for the past two months.
I also do incline with dumbells, incline flies and weighted dips for chest but nothing seems to be working
Help.

Bench 1RM is 335
OHP 1RM is 200

are these ok, proportionally?

You're clearly a jerk

I struggled for a real long time to break 300 lbs on bench, I could get 295 up fairly smoothly but once I put those 2.5s on I'd get stuck. Fixing the bar path I took made it jump up to 305 in one session and with that improved bar path I can do 295 for sets of singles.

nice

Not nearly as much as more benching will. It's good for building delts and keeping your back/neck feeling good but it's not really great bench assistance.

pretty beast

the jerk store called, they're running out of you

Stop doing close grip Bench

How often do you bench?

This. Benching more, will be the best thing you could do. OHP doesn't really do much for your bench, when you get past 3pl8.

295, 185 for me
Seems about right

>Front delt and tricep involvement in bench is seriously underrated

go back to redbit you lame fucking faggot

Push press. Different grip widths on the bench.
