1.25kg yes, lb no

wtf fuck no

>what is microloading
dyel?

yes. especially for things like OHP where even a 5lb progression can be too much once you've acquired all your noob gains

Who is this prostate potentate?

it has a dick. just so you're aware

perfect

Depends on your goals, if you're not a competitive powerlifter i'd say it's not worth your time.

Eh, I'll take it

>has a dick
ehh, ok

>pic is heavily photoshopped and he's wearing make-up
into the trash.

Any more pics?

What the hell, Veeky Forums?

no way, she's fucking cutie. I'm not believing you until proof.

Yes, they are excellent for the OHP and even the bench. I've been adding 1kg to my OHP ever since 48kg, and I'm at 74kg now. Haven't deloaded once.

lol you want dick pics? that's fucking gay

no homo

>Being this new

This is my personal opinion and I haven't really seen any solid evidence so take it as you may.

The effects of a 1kg on or off can vary simply due to natural variances from the amount of sleep the night before, food and even mental fortitude at that particular time. Unless you are doing it professionally with carefully coordinated meals, sleep and activity outside of gym, linear prog with such low weights seem unnecessary.

Doesn't mean it wouldn't work, but it wouldn't be for the reason you think it does.

do you even lift

Instead of progressing, say, a kilo at a time; a sustained period of high volume and then testing for a max could have done the same job. Isn't necessary to keep making new PRs.

Also, I might be wrong but I believe this is how the Chinese do it?

its not necessary but it works anyway

over 9000 hours of google search

>yu Ji Una

WOULD BERRY

Got to a 185 OHP in one year of lifting from using microplates.

Not e-stating btw

I much prefer the feeling of achievement when i add 10lbs plates. I would be embarrassed to load up 1.25lbs plates.

>being this insecure

I love the 2.5lb plates. They help me avoid that awful feeling where the standard number of sets/reps I use is to easy but the next major incriminate is too difficult. It keeps each workout feeling fresh.

Even if it doesn't make a dramatic difference physically, mentally it psyches me up because just that little added weight is pretty motivating. Nothing is more demoralizing than working on a weight that is too easy but that next weight is too difficult. I fucking hate that feeling.

Plus when you finally CAN add the 10lb pl8s you still feel accomplished by chucking those tiny discs aside.

No, these are a meme.

Just drop the weight and rep out instead of increasing by baby weight.
Example:
Week 1: 145 lbs for 5 reps in OHP (169lbs max)
Week 2 goal : 135 lbs for 8 reps in OHP (171lbs max)

Use the 1 rep max coefficient
(weight x reps x 0.0333) + weight = max

What the fuck it's not actually a trap. I don't believe it but I am disappointed.

Also dat pic of her having cut herself.

>Not e-stating btw
i would sure the fuck hope not. if youre gonna estat your OHP at least make it lmao2pl8

Who is this?

The way i work i use the same weight until i can do at least 10 reps in my first set and more than 6 in my second then i go up by 10lbs.
That's about 5kg a side and that is baby weight that you should be able to lift.

well done brehs

>What the fuck it's not actually a trap
>has tons of makeup
>has obviously had plastic surgery
>not a trap
kek

this is how we roll

>shenzen model
>japanese nickname
wut

That is some primo side-boob

Nigga do you even know what 1 kilo converts to in lbs? You still claiming thats too small of gain?
Brah... go buy that shaker weight, casual lifts mcgee.

Shut up, Satan.

only for >The Press

Yes. You can get a bag of .5-pound plates (they're like industrial washers) from Amazon for about 20 bucks. I also got the .25-pound plates as well. It's well worth it.

Do kilogram plates even exist?

yes. why wouldnt they exist?

only reason for 2.5lb is to warm up shoulders before bench and to hit your new bench PR by 5

Because only homo Europeans use kilos

This is legitimately the most stupid post I've seen this week

...

I couldn't see the key that tell me if I'm right
Pinkish is for the big dicked countries
Green is for the cucks with micropenises

This is inaccurate I'm Canadian and we don't use metric here for temperature and distances maybe but beyond that it's all imperial here. Maybe Quebec uses metric but nobody gives a shit about them

chinese bitches use Japanese names (as English names or nicknames) all the fucking time to seem cute/prestige. Sort of like random white chicks in the US acting French or whatever

most countries don't use exclusively metric. there's usually some place where customary units are used; distance, weights (especially for people and food) real estate sizes (both for plots of land, and for sizes of buildings/rooms), etc.

The US is officially metricized; US measurements and standards are just for customary use, they are officially based in the metric system.

Stupid meme is stupid.

Quebec is the most famous part of Canada yet every time a Canadian posts they talk shit about Quebec. What is wrong with Quebec other than having some French people in it?

Gangs, violent gangs

OP here, i feel like 1.25 lb would make a great difference when you are starting given that it's a bigger % of the total weight.

oh shit i almost forgot to attach a picture to keep you guys interested

>tfw in chemE class had to learn imperial and metric

its not that bad but its strange when everything else is done in metric

Just modify your % and rep scheme. These weights are on the same plane as elevation masks & toe shoes.

In Canada? Who would've thought!

White biker gangs... dirty fricken bikers

>cuts her right arm
>all her pics strategically hide her right arm

lol dumb bitch

I mean they're like $10 dollars

1. They're wannabe French. They're Freeaboos.

2. Literally terrorists who fucked the rest of Canada to try to get respect for their stupid "culture" and still failed

Does your gym have those weighted vests that only PTs hired by 40 year old professionals seem to like? You can easily rig them up to weigh that much and drape them over the end of the bar.

JESUS THATS TOO MUCH FOR ME

Oh, yes, we have those in the States. Mostly in the desert-y parts in the Midwest to California. I will suggest this book for anybody interested in the subject.

Fucking hell. I hate seeing people do shit like that to themselves.

So,do I save the images in my trap folder or my women-women folder ?

>what is microloading
2.5lbs
1.25lbs is nanoloading

185 The Press is bretty fuggin gud.

I'm born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. The French Canadians here are too fucked up. There is constant tension between anglophones and francophones because the peppers want to "protect their culture". It's awful. Though, the women are absolutely gorgeous in this city. Montreal is a pretty big hot spot for hotties. If you have any questions, I'll happily answer them.

Are French Canadians as pompous as actual Frenchies?

They are a pack of communists & socialists & terrorists
Literally scum of the earth
fuck quebec
All these shit country wrecking prime ministers come from quebec, they want to destroy Canada because muh seperatism

I'm also canadian, the only thing I've noticed we used imperial for is weight, unless cooking.

O MY GOD
