I really think that religion in itself doesn't get 100% of the blame. People just wanted power so they just took christianity as their excuse. But yeah, the christian religion is dogmatic as fuck, so it really did help in this.

>magical holy book

There's nothing magical about bludgeoning people to death over trivial matters - it's just LARPers.

>christian europe
>literally warring with itself for 2000 years

Jesus promised he came to bring war on Earth - as befitting people foolish enough to challenge the gods.

>what is the Roman Genocide of Gaul

>What is the Roman destruction of Corinth
>What is the 3rd Punic War
>What are the million Roman civil wars of the late Republic
sit the fuck down brainlet. Christian medieval conflict has nothing on the secular butchery of the pagan world.

In the far future they will view Christian Europe as one entity.

>pagan europe
>united under rome
Something a brainlet would say

The difference between paganism and christianity is christianity causes you to genocide yourself. At least pagan rome didn't genocide romans

>The difference between paganism and christianity is christianity causes you to genocide yourself.

It's worse than that - the pagan gods are actually real. If you go to war against them it's like bacteria challenging a human.

>The Huns and Germanic migrations would just leave Rome alone if it was pagan

Is this bait?

>>pagan europe
>united under one roman empire
lol

That's because they had literal God Emperor.

Nigga you make no sense and need to take your meds

This isn't /rp/, take your gay shit somewhere else

Not even gonna address the other retarded part of this post, but do you think a human easily defeats a bacteria just because they're small.

Pagan brothers :)

traitor

Because with Christianity you had one, theoretical, code of conduct which was interpreted vary differently based upon state and was seldom adhered to due to insufficient disincentive in the majority of case.

Whereas, Rome didn't have a static unaltering code of conduct and their rules were essentially whatever the emperor wanted them to be. As such, there was a single unified force maintaining order on its own terms without pesky egalitarian and humanitarian ideologies forcing them to adhere to some standard.

Pagan LARPers in 2017 were all New Atheists in 2007. Both use the exact same rhetoric.

Those were all just defensive wars by Rome.
