Is it possible to make gains without working out legs and deadlift ?

Ive been working out for a couple of months now and i made some noticable gains but all of my fat is stored in my hips and my hip bones are wider than normal so ive been thinking if i should skip exercises that work legs and hips since they make them bigger ?

i know but doing deadlift and squads makes hips bigger by increasing the muscle mass on that are a and i already have wide hips. I dont wanna end up looking

I've been lifting on and off for ~2 years. I haven't once done a leg day until yesterday. Mostly just been doing my upper half, with some calf and hamstring work now and then. Squatted 3pl8 and deadlifted 3pl8.

I think most of my strength came from the fact that I used to be overweight so I had already developed lots of leg muscle beforehand.

Regardless, make sure to work out your legs. Aesthetically, having fat calves and legs can make you look overweight even if the rest of your body is much more fit. If you have sculpted calves and quads, you look much better, even if you look flabbier up top.

Get those leg gains. You don't just look fat if you work your legs.

There is quite literally nothing you can do (or cannot do) to make yourself look better if you have been cursed with poor genetics. Working your legs will not change your pelvis, not working your legs will not change your pelvis.

unless you can see the pl8s deadlift has to be the worst lift to be photographed doing. at least if you squat and theyre out of frame it still looks like youre doing something

I mean, I squatted in the past when I was starting out and was learning how to lift. But, I've been running for years and worked as a lumberjack for 2 years as well. Moving logs that are hundreds of pounds doesn't come without gains as fuck.

I don't know what to tell you. I threw on a plate, and it was light as fuck. Threw on another. Could still do at least 20 reps. Threw on a 25, was getting close to 10 rep range. Threw on a 35, still feeling decent enough. Threw on another 45 and got 3 reps out and did 3 more sets of 315.

Left basically has the worst fucking shoulder width you can get.

Wide hips don't matter as long as your shoulders are wide enough for it.

Its possible to make gains without deadlift sure. Plenty of people do it. You can't just skip legs all together though, squats are necessary
