Better have a round back then a hollow back. Try to squeez abs and tighten up DAT ASS.

That means your abs are not yet strong enough to do a plank for the amt of time you are trying for.

Do a plank only until you feel it in your back, then stop. Doesnt matter if it's 5 seconds or a minute... That is one rep, and you stop immediately when you feel it in your back.

Wait a minute, then do it again until you feel it in your back, then stop.

Repeat for 5 reps every day.

Over time, the time will become longer and longer before your back get's involved in helping your abs support you.

shoulder exercises (ohp, facepulls, lateral raises) until it feels comfortable. In the mean time do other ab exercises. Or keep planking and your shoulders will develop what they need to support you, just dont overdo it

I violently shake when I do planks. I'm not in pain and my abs feel fine until about a minute in. Don't get this for push-ups or at rolls
