Im not the master of cutting but I used to weight 165pounds at the end of my bulk. Now Im at 147Ibs and all i do is make sure not to go over 1500 calories. Im 5'9, ofcource i got more to cut but i dont think there is anything wrong with eating high carbs. Im mexican so I eat beans once a day, about 350-400 g of beans and I do have my 3 slices of wheat bread about 4 times a week. Also i do drink probably 3 beers on the weekend. Last week I ate a whole pizza. I think its all a matter of counting calories. I eat about 170g of carbs a day to make sure i got energy and about 170g of protein to make sure i keep my muscle(implying i got muscles) and i usually do

3 egg whites, one whole egg, two pieces of multi-grain toast, a banana, 2 slices of melon, 2 cups of skim milk.
I save as much fat as possible for a dinner/after-dinner treat.

Well, the point really isn't that fruit will make you fat. It's that fruit isn't the best choice to start your day. It's very fast digesting and can spike blood sugar, both of which mean you'll be hungry and lightheaded soon after. It's really not much better than starting your day with a pop-tart.

I have oats & whey along with banana, spinach, mixed berries for breakfast everyday and my energy is pretty stable until about 2p (up at 7am everyday). Maybe only fatties have issues with big blood sugar spikes

I separated the food by empty lines to clarify what is put together. So I have one scrambled egg broiled with one teaspoon of butter, some cottage cheese with chives, salt and pepper and muesli with milk and an apple in this order. Fills my stomach sufficiently until lunch and tastes delicious

All in all I have 2000 kcals a day which is roughly a 500 kcal deficit.

I can eat a shitton of fruit and never feel satiated, i get hungry again within an hour, but if I eat 4 eggs with just one toast I feel fine till lunch. Also proteins take mych longer to be processed than carbs and therefore keep your stomach full for a longer time.
