I think the fact that you're fit and your body communicates that commitment is part of the attraction process. It still shows that it expresses how much you value yourself. That you think you have good worth. It adds to the attraction. But you have to have more than that to attract girls, right? You can literally be Zyzz-mode but if you show neediness, insecurity, seek validation from her, can't lead the interaction, etc. you'll be putting her off pretty quick and you'll be going home from a date to masturbate.
Getting fit, especially if you improve your sexual prowess, can help your confidence, can help make you feel good about who you are, but that feeling, that mindset, must come from within. From a deep sense of who you are. Be in the present. You act and do what feels natural. If you base that feeling solely on fitness, then it's like buying a new shirt. You get a good confidence boost, overtime it may begin going away, a girl may reject you in it, you fail to achieve things that you want while you are wearing it, and that confidence boost is gone. That's why you put your emotional well being on a deep sense of who you are rather than things that are prone to fade. I hope you understand what I'm talking about.

That they're coming from an invidious source trying to steep people down. Having 1 or 2 feel threads at most is fine, heck, I'd even encourage it.
