>you burn like 100 cals when lifting weights

jeeez this is what every cardio fag believes.

Also:

>you drink protein shake, you muscles are not real. When you stop training they will be all saggy and soft.
>if you want to be toned just play a team sport and go running

I hate this one the most:

>Nah man i dont want to get too big, rather like Jeff Seid or Ryan Terry.

> you're such a tryhard for drinking protein shakes
> why do you want to lift weights? just play sports instead :))))))
> I'd rather do something intellectual than go lift weights

but tbf OP
>don't forget to stretch before going to the gym
this one ain't normiescience

If you don't know how/what to stretch then you can really fuck shit up lifting

>bro how did you get so toned with heavy weights like that?
>how much you bench? Oh yeah I used to bench that when I was lifting
>you may be big but you'd be so slow in a fight now
>no wonder you're so big you're taking protein powder. You know that has steroids in it, right?

MAN I'M TRIGGERED AS FUCK RIGHT NOW

>you may be big but you'd be so slow in a fight now

Some skellington (weighs like 50kg, literally skin on bones) on my Facebook said that if he and Kali muscle got in a fight he'd win because he knows Jewish kung fu or some shit and that he's faster therefore stronger

Yeah that's pretty classic delusion. A skelly pro fighter could be a pro bodybuilder in a fight, sure, I'd buy that.
But a skelly random amateur fighter would not beat a huge amateur bodybuilder.

Jew Kung Fu

You do not stretch *before* lifting, brah.

They only say that shit because they're insecure as fuck.

> You take creatine? IT'S SO UNSAFE
> Do a real sport, lifting doesn't give you functional strength.

Kung Jew

>things nobody says

>on cut, Sunday morning weigh myself: 168.9 lbs.
>barely eat anything all day, out for a nice 4 hour hike. Drink a lot of water.
>monday morning, took a massive dump, feel dehydrated. Feeling excited about stepping on scales.
>172lbs
What kind of dark magic is this???

>I live a sheltered life away from the stupidity of the common man

Tell that to oly lifters, dancers and athletes m8.

That said, you should only be stretching the muscles that are tight or causing inhibition or postural issues for your body.

Can you, for example, do an ATG overhead squat on cold muscles with proper balance? If so, you're pretty damn mobile and can probably disregard everything I'm saying, but sooner or later in your programming you're going to run into movements that you can't do properly/safely without proper warmup and targeted stretching.

dynamic stretching before, static stretching after

been doing that for a few weeks and it makes everything comfy

You stretch before and after lifting, you warm up before and after lifting as well.

Doing dynamic stretches for the muscles you're going to use (wrists for cleans, hammies for romanian diddlies, shoulders for The Press TM, etc...) is highly advisable to reduce risk of injury.

webmd.com/fitness-exercise/guide/how-to-stretch?page=2

STATIC streches are what isn't recommended.

>why do you need protein shakes? Just eat food and workout
>then proceeds to complain when we spend $80 to feed two people for three weeks

Jew Jitsu

>don't forget to stretch before going to the gym
ISHYGDDT
Stretching cold muscles is a great way to injure yourself. Stretch AFTER, never BEFORE.

That's exactly what my coworker said, quit using protein powder, just eat steak and potatoes every day... lol as if I want my ass to bleed.

He also believe in working arms every day and doing everything at once, like bench, deadlifts, ohp, literally every workout in one session.

>Nah man i dont want to get too big, rather like Jeff Seid or Ryan Terry.
do people actually say this

If you go to the gym alot and is not trying to be a powerlifter you should have abs unless you're a faggot

Also, milk is bad for you

>Nah man i dont want to get too big, rather like Jeff Seid or Ryan Terry.

God fucking damn these people, Jeff, compared to the average male, even the average gym goer is FUCKING HUGE

Did you go drinking Saturday night?

post gyno OP

Yes, normies actually think its easy to look like them.
They dont realize you have to train hard for years and years and have a perfect diet to look like them.
And even then, theres only a small chance they will ever look like any of these guys.

I've heard people say
>"yeah i think Jeff Seid or Zach Zeiler look good, you know not big but very toned!"

And they actually think these bodys are worth 1-2 years of lifting + expensive supplements.

You see the same delusion on Veeky Forums all the time.

>They dont realize you have to tren hard for years and years and have a perfect fatburner to look like them.
Fix'd that for you, I seriously hope you don't think Jeff Seid is natty
