Your Bitcoin Private Key Is Not Safe

There is a "mining" pool supported by Chinese government which is trying to find bitcoin private keys with funds on them.

For now one of the miner has found a private key with 0.53 BTC inside

did they successfully steal 0.12274528 BTC?

>implying I think anything is safe on the internet
nothing is safe online, why do people think anything is safe?

according to their news they found at least six private keys with funds

is this for real? People claimed its fucking impossible and muh atoms in universe

I am going to sell everything if it is confirmed

Nice just lost 100k

ARGHHHHH MY FAP TOKEN NOOOOO

Fucking chinks! Stop fucking everything up!

Are multisig addresses like my Electrum safe (starts with 3)

don’t those require multiple private keys?

user i invite you to actually look at the numbers and not just
>muh atoms in universe

seriously sit down and actually look at the numbers, every single computer on earth could begin doing this and its still more likely we die by an asteroid impact, than finding a single bitcoin key in 10 years.

im not even exaggerating

My. 53 btc is lost... Ahhhh

>According to Chinese news American pig dogs admit that they are jealous of the Chinese and that their treacherous internet currency can be destroyed by Chinese power at any time
>Bitcoin is now worthless citizens so stop buying it or else

look here and explain

If you didn't used a shit wallet to generate your private key then you are good, your funds are safe.

Miners are the ultimate jews, we need a coin that rewards unique users from different geolocs rather than processing power.

a lot of people doin this....

if you have a at least basic knowledge in programming you can write your own software that generates 24/7 BTC adresses with private keys, those adresses will be check if they have a balance, if so checkpot.

They put money on specifically crafted weak keys, then spent huge amounts of effort cracking them. This demonstrates why bitcoin doesn't use 32 bit private keys, but nothing more useful than that. They will never find a real private key.

Probably poorly generated address.

is original bitcoin core wallet safe? even if I used version from 2011?

what about multibit and electrum?

They are safe.

>Put BTC into some random address
>Casually """discover""" the address
>Add the """finding""""" to the trophies page
>Noobs join direct their mining power to some random chinese pool
>Pool actually has been mining shit all the time using external resources

Seriously people fall for this?

yup i there case of course nothing compairable to a home driven concept

This is most definitely fake. That key prob leaked somehow. It was one for the first keys due to a bug with the software.

People fail to realize how big these numbers really are.

Nice just bought 100k chinks to start punching in random BTC keys

If you have fucking basic statistic knowledge you would not even be fucking talking about this retarded shit.

Lol

There are over a billion chinks, if they together stand one upon other then few will definitely reach moon.

This you fucks. Genus find user. It's what they are really doing. It's genius.

1. Get people to join to "find" BTC
2. Mine BTC
3. Create an address every noe and then and deposit BTC on it
4. "Discover it"

This is such a scam lmfao
