i even saw them maxing out on bench. couldnt get 1 plate lmao

when I was squatting 2+ plates I remember insecure guys would put roughly the same weight on the bar and quarter squat it. then when my squat got to 3+ plates and even quarter squatting was no longer possible for them they started either leg pressing 3+ plates, or talking about how much the could leg press. I wonder if by the time I'm repping 4 plates I'll get that reaction where they won't even try anymore.

There's this powerlifter fat kind of guy, mid 40s, really friendly, first time I noticed him was when he was push pressing almost 2pl8, just a single rep, grunting really loud (small gym) and holding it up for like 10 seconds then going around talking to people for 10 minutes and repeat, does the same when benching.

Lol, I saw two teenage kids doing this with the smith machine and they were rolling their shoulders last time I went to the gym. I decided to correct them. I tried really hard not to sound like a douche but the one kid looked really offended.
