and icing is usually your best bet after working out and theres soreness/pain. heat is more relaxing, but not for acute stuff. the mint oil stuff (unless its like biofreeze) doesn't really do anything to your muscles/structures

thank you

At first I thought you were stupid for asking a legitemate question with that picture. But then I realized you are only giving yourself free bumps to stay on the front page until someone actually answers. Absolute madman.

Absolutely not.
You will never adjust to it, and you'll always be treating your shit, just bear through it. taking a pill or treatment for even little ache and pain leads to huge problems later.

Well we're on Veeky Forums so the natural choice is Salonpas. I like em. And I use a mint shower gel that says its for muscle aches, the tingling is somewhat distracting. 5/10.

Contrast showers get rid of doms. It's so effective you'll wonder if you even worked out. Free too which is a bonus.

i know the process of muscle tearing themselves and healing back but this feels quite different
yeah i always wondered the legitimacy of salonpas, might give it a try
right, seems uncomplicated and easy enough to do

Mint + capsaicin + ibuprofen + weed is your best choice.
Unless you actually have pain so acute that you can't move, there's little benefit to it except for how good it feels (if you're one of us, stretching weirdos).
Mint and or capsaicin alone do little work aside from them being analgesic. Ibuprofen + weed have the anti-inflamatory effect. You can do the same without weed.

OP if you've got joint pain, use E-Pharm Joint Force. Made by Patrick Arnold (same guy as designed all the designer steroids in the BALCO scandal), this stuff is legit. Good for joints and tendons, not so much for muscles. But I've used it on my knees, achilles, wrist. Such good stuff.
