tfw advanced row is only good lift

tfw only advanced lift is my pull up

lifting for 4 months, feeling like a failure

That's about right. Slow and steady. Going too fast will fuck your shit up.

This is me

Lifting for 6 weeks now.

Finally some blue muscles.

>tfw feels good

Are you me?

Pendley row is my strongest at 205x5

Why are your shoulders green and his black?

I dont know, maybe he doesnt the press?

SL 5X5 CMONNNNN

Do I have weak spinal erectors because I did a lot of autofellatio when I was 14?

only started lifting seriously a couple weeks ago

>tfw started with a score of 19 about 9 months ago and I'm now 57

>only started lifting seriously a couple weeks ago
>intermediate upper body

Why do people lie on an anonymous forum?

Why is the pendlay row so overrated? Maybe my form is bad(I'm pretty sure it isn't). It says the average 1rm for my score is 80kg and I can rep 85kg for 5.

Did it make you gay?

Chest and Biceps are lacking, are you a girl?

...

3 1/2 months lifting

current 1RM:

Bench 80kg
DL - 140kg
Squat 110kg
OHP - 50kg

I'm an oly lifter

Probably been lifting for a year now, with some muscle to begin with (like 55 kg bench 8x3 or something)

No one does pendlay rows correctly.
People on Veeky Forums do them because they're sponsored by SL5x5 and SS, but the rest of the world replaced them with normal rows and equivalents for very good reasons.

Pretty eveyone doing them doesn't touch their chest correctly with the bar (or doesn't at all, since it requires some hardcore flexibility).
They compress on their bottom vertebrae by arching downwards.
They lift with their arms and outer back instead of with their shoulderblades.
They bend their knees too much or too little.
They never lean at a 90° degree.

It's an exercise that requires more fucking spotting than benching 4pl8 to ensure that it's doing anything at all, while it does exactly the same thing as no-brainers like normal rows with accessories.

The reason why it goes up so fast for so many people is that they're lifting with their entire upper body a weight that they're supposed to be lifting with a very limited area of their inner upper back.

T-rex coming through.

No am straight I fuck women

Quats 4 glootz

Sry guys I got it where it counts

Solid novice blue now, started out solid subpar pink. Been doing SL 5x5 for about four months, thinking its about time to switch to a PPL routine.

You're a head in a jar?

OP here. Y my bench is also rly lacking. My vertical press is on the + side though

Yeah I don't press enough, I only do jerk and push press variations.

BW - 84kg

Squat - 90kg
Bench - 60kg
Row - 60.75kg
OHP - 50kg
Deadlift - 122.25kg
All for 5 reps

Been on SL5x5 for about 6 months now. Still advancing on everything but squat, really hit a wall at squatting 90kg for 5.

Looking to move onto a split but no idea where to start, according to Veeky Forums everything is a meme.

*bench is down because shoulder injury*
*squat is down because my fault. shitty squatter*

Look up reddit's PPL split, might help

Nope. Do not do this. If you're gonna go the reddit route, start with their PHUL program first.

What's wrong with doing the 6 day split?

Awaken your inner slav.

5'8", 189 lbs

Thanks bro, any advise for picking a starting weight?

Found a post answering any questions i may have around progression.

how do I into slav oly squatter mode?

Does anyone know a similar website that compares your lifts to your bodyweight instead? This site makes it like nearly impossible to get past proficient/advanced as the bodyweight goes down

>Exceptional:
Lifters in this category have typically taken a consistent, structured approach to diet and strength training for the majority of their adult life and are competitive at the regional level. For many lifters, this level is near the maximum genetic potential without the use of performance-enhancing drugs. Strength score 100.
Gee, I wonder why...

sounds nice except for all that squatting m8

Lifting for around 5 and a half months

Any good?

what is expectable on a strenght program

Man tell me all about dat dere routine
Do I need to do eyebrow raises 3×8 or 5×5?

Depends on your length. If you are a manlet, it's okay, if you are a lanklet, it's good.

about 10 months in, not too sure about this. I'm definitely not intermediate.

My bench is absolute shit, something I've been trying to change recently. 1RP is only bodyweight

Really good at power cleans though, no idea why.

2 years of lifting, cant believe my bench press is considered my best lift since i only do close grip..
