My local Gym costs $275 a year, honestly don't know if this is a good deal or not, but $275 seems like alot for a rural town of 1-2,000 people.
I pathetically only have 20lbs dumbbells but It would be cheaper (around $150-$200) for me to buy the supplies and synthesize some test e, I would probably make some decent gains aswell, I mean I don't really wanna take roids but It is cheaper.
Opinions?
Chase Bailey
Most gyms around here are 50 a month, so 275 is a good deal. That's only like 23 a month
James Torres
That's a pretty good deal. My gym runs me 456 a year (the average person pays 600) but I never have to wait for a squat rack, machine, and they have 2-3 sets of dumbells of the same weight so you don't have to wait either.
I don't know what your gym is like but I'd say 456 is a good price for what I get.
Josiah Ortiz
That's pretty expensive, user. I go to a local gym that is only 10 a month. Has everything I'd ever need to get swole.
Brody Harris
That's a pretty good price. I pay like $25/mo for my small community gym, there's 1 bench, 1 power rack but luckily I almost never even have to work in since many of the patrons are retired
Aiden Hall
Wow holy shit, had no clue how much gyms cost so I guess I should hop on it huh?
Daniel White
If it's a quality gym, take it and don't let them raise your price.
Ethan Long
my friends dad has a membership to a millionaires gated community that has its own private gym that we work out at. so it costs me and him $0 and usually we get the gym all to ourselves because we work out in the afternoon on weekdays
its pretty tight.
David Russell
£40 a month, though I get it for £35 because of the company I work for.
Pretty expensive, but its a good gym with a pool, sports courts, a track and lots of small things like sunbeds, masseuses and free meme classes.
John Morgan
$22/month is pretty cheap for a gym membership provided it has a squat rack and allows deadlifts. You have to remember you are basically renting a squat rack and weights with your gym membership. After two years you could have afforded a used squat rack and olympic weight set but you have to consider how difficult it will be to find something like that on craigslist living in a rural community.
William Morgan
yeah I'll have to check it out, but really all I need is a bench and barbell, and hopefully a pullup bar.
Don't even need any cardio as the 14km bike to the gym and 14km bike back should be enough for the whole week cause 3x28 is 84km a week
Charles Scott
trust me I have been looking desperately on craigslist but haven't found anything over 100lbs in weight

Just start at the gym and if you get serious about it you can consider a home gym in the future.
Dylan Long
$7 a month at my local rec center.
Sadly, it has no Smith Machine to OHP in.

Yeah. My gym runs 420$ a year, though it is nice that it's month to month. I could get 325$ a year if I wanted to switch to 24 Hour Fitness and buy a two year membership all in advance (650$ up front).
There are some bad deals out there. There's a gym much closer to me that's the same as the first option (35$ a month), plus a 60$ one time membership fee. But they're also very small, and don't have a pool or rock climbing wall like both of these other options do (or multiple locations open 24 hours like 24 hour fitness).
Man, what the hell. My local rec center charges 420$ a year (you have to buy three month passes). It does have a pool and some other things, and it also has a smith machine. But only one, and for that price I want real weights.
So basically that's dead cheap.
Ethan Evans
I pay $480cad/year, 2 year contract.
3 squat rack, 5 bench, all the plates and db I need, track, bball court, sauna, all the meme machines I need and a free spin class
Jacob Parker
My gym was costing me $40.00 per week which is just over 2k per annum.
This gave me fight training 6 days per week and a free weights area. Was only open from 4pm until 9pm Mon to Thurs, and 4-6pm Friday. Then at 10am -1pm on Saturday.
It didn't make good sense to spend money in this fashion so for a fraction more than a gym membership I bought a power cage, and Olympic weight set with 1000lbs of weights. It's basically the same fit out you'd see in a gym equipment wise but it'd now in my garage at home.
I've found that since I don't have to rush my workouts because a million cunts want to use the one squat rack etc my lifts gave shot up across the board.
John James
The only local 24 hour is $75/month, previously $65. They raise it like clockwork, $10 a year. Still, it is permanently crownded. I have to rotate with one or two people even at 2-4AM.
There is a public gym, at $60/month depending om what you sign up for. The are only open until 10PM and open at 6AM or 7AM. It is also really crowded.
John Lee
mine's also only 10 bucks a month >no contract >free pizza/doughnuts periodically >pretty chill people, not a lot of meat-heads >super friendly staff, keep you from injuring yourself with heavy weights
I'd been lifting for about a month before discovering them, and I'm already by far the biggest dude there. feels pretty good.
Kevin Clark
I get LA fitness for $15 a month. Best gym, outdoor pool and close to home
Caleb Bell
good to know thanks
Jaxon Ramirez
I haven't lifted since spring semester ended. The only gym near me with free weights is a lifetime and the membership is probably around $100 per month. Hold me bros
Dylan Sullivan
Holy fucking shit I hate my country, fucking president stealing money and shit.
Mine's $80 a month, $530 a year. I feel scammed. I only buy when theres discount of 3 months for $120.
Kayden Powell
My gym costs £32.95/month ($47.50). There aren't any other gyms around besides the one I used to go to that costs £30/month, but is the bare bones.
Josiah Hill
>$80 a month = $530 a year 80x12=960
>$120/3 months = $530 a year 120x4 = 480
where tf you gettin ur numbers from man

Blake Perez

Christopher Robinson
It's for real dude. I live at shitty 3rd world country Ecuador, Everything in here is overpriced. If i lived in the US I would live in a fucking mansion. A $2000 car in the us costs $18000 here. No kidding.
Alexander Ward
>needing a smith machine to OHP Just do it on a barbell if you want gains.
Oliver Wright
The $120 for 3 months is a discount breh. Also yes $80 a month. Fucking golds gym, but it's 5 minutes in bike so I go there.
Isaac Sanchez
