That DYEL guy who tells you you should bench with half ROM instead of full otherwise you'll hurt yourself

>that DYEL guy who tells you you should bench with half ROM instead of full otherwise you'll hurt yourself
yeah thanks bro I'll try that next time

>things that never happened

Literally happened this morning

Need more info on the delicious JB

Jordyn Jones

why is this allowed

Stick up for yourself user.
>Yeah, nah. You've got it backwards m8. Shoulder impingement is a result of too much stress being placed on the delts, often by either going past full ROM, or by stopping half way and using your shoulders to halt a moving force without proper use of the biomechanical advantages of the pectoral stretch, and elbows.

>I am 46 years old and have been a PT for 20 years
>Your knees shouldn't go past your toes when squatting
Why?
>Because you will ruin your knees
Why? The criteria is weird and seems arbitrart and every persons anthropometry is different. If it were true, shouldnt it be about angle of knee flexion? And isn't it impossible to do front squats without knee travel? Plus, no reputable research I read said so.
>You didn't search well enough. I have trained many athletes and I tell them all to squat like that
What does that have to do with my knees?
>Do what you want, but you'll have no knees when you become 40
Ok
*Proceeds to bench HALF plate while I squat 3

Why do people believe this shit still? It is literally the first result when googling "squat myths"
And why should I even trust him?

>special snowflake spelling
Boner lost

Its happened to me. But froma huge mother fucking polish guy.

never change Veeky Forums

Found the repressed american, also checked'em.

This happens so often its ridiculous. Also the older chubby guy who "use to bench double what you are".

Kekk,
>be ohp 1 plate for 5
>some indian guy starts telling me to not use arch my back
>use you your knees bro
>but it's a shoulder excercise
>no bro you will get injured
>I don't care

Done
How hard is that?

The DYEL who tells you that you shouldn't lift more than half an hour a day, and any longer you'll lose muscle.

you shouldn't arch your back though, it's not necessary. just push your hips forward at the start of the press. legs stay extended, back stays straight.

> " you shouldn't squat so deep, that's only for athlethes"

Honestly if you bench 2pl8 or more no one will dare give you advice at least was the case in my last gym

>TFW you do full body workouts that take 3+ hours 3 times a week and you look noice

that DYEL guy who is autistic enough to post about an encounter in the gym where some guy was trying to give him advice on an anime imageboard

What does it mean when you're physio tells you this

>tfw you do 8 hour arm workouts everyday

fuckin plebs dont know shit

She's not naked. You forget teens always copy adults...
