Fat fuck here, recently had a wake up call on how huge I am and I'm now trying to loose it.
Friends have recommended Rapid Loss bullshit shakes because they 'worked' for them and they had left over tubs.
I'm having one for breakfast, one for lunch and healthy dinner (250g chicken or fish with veggies).
I'm aware that once I stop the shakes (assuming they work) I'm likely to blow out again so I'm going to slowly merge from shakes to salads and healthy breakfasts once I get down (if) to my goal.
I've cut soda out cold turkey. Drinking way more water and when I'm sick of that I drink green tea. I want to get healthy once I get to my ideal weight. Do these shakes really work?
I live in a remote town and there is no gym I can join. Besides walking, what would be good for loosing weight?
I hate vegetables and salads (which is why I'm a fat fuck) but they're slowing growing on me.

I'm a recovering fat and I can tell you this shit is real easy. Just accept that you WILL have to count calories for the rest of your life. Up to you if you want to be an ugly fat shit or a sexy mother fucker past that.

Said every great failure. It's good to see your trying to progress into your diet and not go full retard on day one, but you won't make it if your goal is just the end result. It won't be easy, you'll make mistakes, have bad weeks and feel like giving up, we all do. The trick is putting yourself in a position where it's easier to keep going than give up.

Get in a routine, make the healthy breakfast today, try different salads, get good at making chicken and fish. Walking is all you need to do, worry about other exercises once you're able to walk a couple miles or weight loss stalls

You got this, you just need to start. Also those shakes are a alternative to a good meal, try not to use them as a stepping stone

I work stupid hours so I cant eat regularly to keep a routine which is why I use the shakes for brekky+lunch. Usually at work on my feet so I cant eat where I am.

No you fucking aren't. You're doing a meme diet. Cut down to 1800 calories per day at absolute maximum. That is your new fucking daily intake until you hit your target weight. Once you reach said target, look up your maintenance calories, that is your limit for the rest of your fucking life.

Eating healthier, better, etc... work on that over time. If you go hard, you will break. To start eat whatever, just know your fucking calorie limit. For now, just get the math of counting calories down. And for the love of fuck don't be THAT guy and estimate portion sizes and estimates. Measure EVERY SINGLE THING YOU PUT IN YOUR FAT HOLE. Literally everything. If you can't measure EXACTLY how many calories are in it, don't fucking eat it. Don't fucking get a slice of pizza from your favorite place and look up "calories in pizza", fuck you, that shit isn't accurate. You don't know what the fuck you just ate. Oh and don't forget to count oils and shit you cook with too.

Make time, if you ain't got the time now, you won't have 100lbs from now either. Make wraps or sandwiches you can eat on the go. Cook for the week when you have time off. You get a work break? Take a 10 min lap around the building

Also male or female? Yes this is relevant. On a cut, males should eat around 1800 calories. Females, 1500. Any lower and you risk potential problems.

Prepare your lunches ahead of time. Grill some chicken with a side of spinach or other veggie. Store them all to bring to work .

Get myfitnesspal app or something similar and accurately count your calories. Just eat 500 less than your TDEE.

Stop weighing yourself for a while, if you eat right for weeks and don't lose as much as you hoped it can really put you off it and make you quit. Weigh yourself after a month of counting calories and walking. Or jogging if you can, try couch to 5k for starters, that's how I started when I was obese.

Don't worry about salads, they are overrated, eat lean meat, vegetables you like, for me that's asparagus, spinach, zucchini and broccoli. And some rice or something.

You can still eat unhealthier foods, limit it to stuff that's not fried or greasy, like oven baked French fries or homemade pizza. Just make sure you don't go over your fault calories.

Stop drinking soda completely, limit alcohol to social occasions only.

This has all worked for me and I have lost 80lbs over 2 and a half years, could have lost more if I was more strict with calorie counting

I cant go to gym for proper weight lifting f+ sticky says cadio & bike riding, which is why I asked.
I might try lifting heavy objects but I'm not sure if its the same thing.

The milk is 55 cal for ever 200ml (which is what I drink per shake) and the powder is 245cal per scoop.
I've looked up meal plans. I'm on 250g chicken or fish grilled, 6 broccoli stalks, 100g pumpkin and 10 beans for dinner.
Snacks are 100g yogurt which is 85 cal, weird healthy bar thing that worked out to be 66(if I remember correctly) cal

I recently suffered 2 ankle injuries in the last 2 months (same ankle good going) so I'm a bit concerned I'll further damage it with exercise. But with a brace I'm assuming I'll be ok

If you eat more calories than you burn, you will gain weight. If you eat fewer calories than you burn, you will lose weight. It literally CAN'T work any other way or the human body would be unable to function.

Literally every other diet plan/tip you see out there (keto, IF, paleo, eat this shake, take this pill, whatever), whether they say it or not, is just an attempt to get you to eat at a calorie deficit without being hungry all the goddamn time. If you are hungry, you will cheat, and if you cheat, you will fail.

How tall are you? On average though you should NOT go over 1500 as a woman on a cut. As I previously said, cut to target weight, and once you reach said weight, adjust your calorie limit to maintenance calories.

The reason a lot of fats balloon back up after a diet is because they go back to how they were afterwards. You want to stay sexy? Count calories the rest of your life. That's not to say you can't fuck the rules once every week or two, but understand that you will need to do this the REST OF YOUR LIFE. Otherwise you'll just get fat again.

Also if you ever get pregnant, talk to your doctor and ask how many additional calories you will need. Yes you can still count with a baby in your gut.

Do 3 and 4 like 3 times per week at least and eat less. And you just wait. You wait a few months and it will show even if you don't notice. I hate vegetables and salads too so I don't have too much but they make no difference in loosing weight.

5'3 grrrl here, I cut at 1300 or so. You can do it user. You'll be surprised how good you'll feel after 6 months or so. But here's a warning - it can take a long time to see any results. Don't give up!

Women build muscle extremely slowly, compared to men. You're also a midget and not planet-tier fat so even losing weight can seem to go slow. But when you finally start lowering your body fat%, you'll see everything about your body look and feel better.

So don't give up after 3 months. If you need encouragement the fat hate threads are very useful.

If you're morbidly obese, walking is all you could really do anyway. I read fat people could also try swimming but again if you're morbidly obese and can't shower and wipe properly like regular people, don't infest the water.

This. I'm maybe 5'1 on a good day (prob just 5'0) and my Max is like 1200.everyone is right you have to count them, then you'll get used to actually how much you're actually supposed to be eating. I went from 143 in April to 135 yesterday. It's okay if it's slow as long as it's progress. My goal is to be under 130 by July so I'm gonna wake up every morning and do 30 minutes of cardio. My friends can go fuck themselves I'm not gonna go out every night anymore.

That's cause vegetables and salads blow dick. Eat grilled, skinless chicken breast, no condiments, lightly seasoned (meaning some black pepper and a spoonful of olive oil per breast, max). It's damn near impossible to overeat on that and you'll be much more satiated and less likely to splurge on shitty foods. Do not eat chicken sandwiches, do not eat rice, just chicken. Drink only water, coffee (no creamer, no milk, no sugar, sweetener only), or tea (same deal, nothing bought out of a bottle or jug).

Better to estimate basal metabolic rate now. 1800kcal/d probably isn't much less than OP's maintenance level. 2000cal a day suggestion is for people doing physical labor or play. I'd reccommend 1500 to start.

The opposite is true. Drinking calories is ALWAYS a bad idea when you're trying to lose weight because you're not getting fibre and not feeling full but you're consuming the same amount of calories.

Whatever you're likely to stick with. Weights and strength training work best for weight loss, but getting a job til you can afford a gym is probably your best port of call.
Failing that find sportsy/outdoorsy hobbies. Survival etc is usually good for fatties.
