You'll be fine if you make damn sure your kid is well fed and go out of your way to make sure he is active as a kid and teenager. If he's active, he's damaging his bones more and can grow. This is going to sound edgy too, but might even be worthwhile to get him into snowboarding in hopes he breaks his leg. When kids break their legs they come back even taller than before due to the double whammy of HGH flooding their system and the body's need to repair itself. Makes the bones denser and longer at the break point. Also you should make sure he's getting in good cardio and maintains good blood pressure so nutrients flow properly during puberty. All that should be enough, but if it doesnt work for whatever reason, you can just go to a doctor and start shooting him up with HGH when he's like 16 if you don't think he's tall enough.

I wish my parents were into fitness like I am. I came out to be 6'3(so far) but I feel like if I ate better as a kid and maybe broke a bone or two, I'd easily be 6'6.

I have a feeling there's going to be a divide among kids in the next 50 years due to larger amounts of people in the latest generation learning more about nutrition and fitness, so they'll pass it to their kids. Athletic children/teens, or the kids of parents who are into fitness and make them lift will be commonly 6'2-6'5. The kids who don't do anything will commonly be 5'8 and under. Like there's going to be a very clear divide with a low population of people in between the two groups.
