Are any of you keto fags working out in a fasted state?
I've tried it previously after 24 hour fasts and felt like absolute dogshit. Yesterday when I had fasted 48 hours I went for a jog and felt great, today I just took some whey protein before and did a total body workout at the gym with plenty of energy.
For me it seems like working out after a day of fasting makes me tired and feel like shit but after longer fasts no problems.

All macronutrients are important.
Insulin response = no more gains killing cortisol = literally more muscle expression.
Carbs are also important for people who burn muscle glycogen in training.

i'm not at sub 8% bodyfat though and until i get there i'll limit myself to 20g carbs a day

Why do all all fat fucks go for keto? i feel like i'm the only one doing psmf, did it for 9 weeks, had 1 week of carbs refeed, and i'm currently on my new 9 week cycle, lost 41lbs so far

As far as glycogen, yes you are making glucose from adipose tissue via gluconeogenesis. Yes you are synthesizing the endogenous glucose into glycogen.
What does this mean?
You get less than optimal glycogen reserves, with NO ADDED BENEFIT.
Couple that with the fact you literally cannot have functioning hormones/sex drive at a low bodyfat, unless you eat sufficient carbs, and there is no reason to do keto.
