This. Plus salad friend drinks sugary drinks and eats deserts when nobody is looking. To say otherwise would be saying the friend is creating energy (as fat) which is not possible.

when I eat only 6 slices of bread and a piece of lettuce a day my body slows it's metabolism and I can eat less and less and save money for strippers.

I know someone who complains about this shit when they see me snacking on 3-4 protein bars in class, and they complain I don't gain weight and they do, I tried to explain it nicely that it's only about 600-800 calories and literally all I eat for nearly 6 hours, plus my maintenance is roughly 3500, now I just tell them to log their food and count calories or else don't talk about it because I know they're eating way too much.

It was hyperbole. Sure, they're not necessarily eating 200 oreos in their room, but they are eating more food when you aren't around, while pizza friend doesn't.

Calories in/out is a fucking meme, but "exercising less and eating more" is not going to help.
Your diet can still be fucked up if you eat only salads or "superfoods" if you don't eat proper portions (which is why counting calories exist, it helps you determine if you're eating way over your maintenance, not to dictate that your going to lose a pound of fat a week if you eat 500 less calories a day), if you stuff yourself with easy to digest and usually processed shit, and stay stressed about your weight all day and night, fucking up your hormones, there's still a lot of ways to stay fat.

Eat more protons, eat your greens, stay full, drink your water, and build some muscle and your body will naturally regulate its metabolism so much better than if you sat on your ass pondering how to lose weight because "my body is working against me! :(".

No it's not. Your body does not deny the laws of thermodynamics. It's just that the "calories out" part is a very complex equation influenced by many factors, so it's harder to control. This is why it's much simpler to just eat less in order to lose weight (the "calories in" part)

My friends. To make it look like your fit and exercising. It creates an image. And everytime he seems me in the gym becomes so happy, and start waving his arms making a statement that he ALSO goes to the gym. Pretty silly really

My friend was saying how he has a fast metabolism because all he eats is pizza. I know this guy well enough to know he takes about an entire day to eat said pizza, meaning this single pizza isnt a single meal but rather left overs for dinner and tomorrows breakfast. Combine that with gaming and you have a guy who already eats under his caloric maintenance forgetting to eat certain meals. People with 'fast metabolism' love to overreport on how much they eat but if you ever call them out on it they will never track how many calories they eat to prove you wrong. Youll be hit with wave after wave of doritos packets and ice cream as proofs while they omit the fact that this was a meal and not a snack between meals.

The opposite rings true for fatties that underreport what they eat. A skinnyfat/fat friend of mine is the polar opposite of the first friend. Nothing but subway for lunch. With extra sauce. 3 Cookies. ice tea (low cals!). Never will they tally up the calories included in such a meal but anyone here can tell you that it looks an insane amount healthier than what it is. This friend will eternally whinge about not losing weight.

These people cant be helped. They need to claw their own way out of the hole. No rope down there will make them climb, they need to want to climb. Youll see in the 'what made you start lifting' threads posted around here that many people were actually introduced to fitness a while ago but just never took it seriously or cared. Only when they were hit with legitimate motivation did the horse begin to drink.

Also youll notice the video didnt mention a single way to overcome these 'issues' and just decided to accept defeat. Embarrassing.

I've been there myself, people lie to themselves to feel better all the time. Some just lie about how intelligent they are, or how free they are living in debt until they die, and some lie about how much they eat and exercise. Once you realize that you lie to yourself to feed your ego, only then you become truly free.

i know this feel. Would look in the mirror at my flabby gut and think its fine. Would walk around all day flicking my shirt so it doesnt expose my tits. Then one day my little cousin said i was a cool cuz and that i should lose the gut. Somehow this little shit was able to breakthrough these lies i was telling myself and show me what i truly was.

Immediately stopped lying to myself, told my ego to fuck off and here i am looking better than ever. What a great feeling.

It is disgusting how out of sync these women are with their own bodies. Did they spend their whole childhood being carried around? Running a few feet looks incredibly challenging for them, not just the fat ones, the slim ones also have no co-ordination. Its embarrassing.

have you ever seen women run or play sports? Its unnerving to watch as the way they run and move seems so inefficient, like theyre always about to fall. Take a girl you know for a run tomorrow, youll find their method of running, their centre of balance, the way they coordinate steps and jumps to be really fucking weird. Ask one to throw a ball to you or kick one. Everything about it seems wrong. I think it stems from a lifetime of inactivity. The girls i know played sports as tiny kids and thats it. the ones that arent fat are so due to simply not eating, not due to exercise. When you reach 25 and are writing for buzzfeed about being fat ill bet a lot of money these girls would trip over their own feet.

Thats not to say all women are like this, im not some r9k bloke, go look at how some /v/irgin lifts weights or runs, its probably the same shit. Just more prevalent in women

Lots of people are delusional, nothing new.

Part of it is due to development. Girls get their gangly limbs earlier and in a much more rapid pace than boys do, so a lot of them develop shitty coordination habits unless they actively do shit to develop it better. Plus men's brains are better overall at spatial perception which helps with proprioception, thus making our movements more fluid and coordinated
