What do you do when you need to improve a specific lift? Stop doing other lifts and add more sets during your gym session, or what? I don't know how to "focus" back squats more, im doing the novice greyskull ell pee routine

I'm not even DYEL according to that dumb site. It favors short limbed people. Being 6'2" with long ass arms, leverage works against me. I started lateral raises with 10lbs while my buddy with smaller shoulders, does 20 no problem

Don't be shit at programing your squat.
Stay on a routine that is intended to build your squat .
Be consistent on that routine.
Actually eat and sleep enough.
Don't have shitty form.

You seriously have to be not eating and on a bro split or something to have that shitty of gains.

You either want it or you don't. If you wanted it, you would have diagnosed your issues and made a priority out of increasing your squat.

I'm a recovering fattie and have been on a perma cut and I do a brosplit so that might explain now that you pointed that out to me.I do legs at twice a week idk about my form.I do sleep enough and my diet is currently at a cut 12-15 calories a day.

If at first you don't succeed, try repeat attempt until desired effect is achieved.

Alright, there's your problem. You really can't manage linear progress on a cut, and you're not going to make progress squatting twice a week just coming in and seeing "what feels good" or "going for five more pounds today". You need to have some kind of periodization.

Look at the Texas Method for some decent weekly periodization.

Weighted chinups are my best lift as well. How much do you do OP?
