I want to get serious about this and I know that I'll need to increase my calorite intake, I'm working on that as well.

You can always check calisthenics-parks.com/ to see if there's anywhere near you. That said, don't be discouraged if you don't immediately find anything. It has a fair number of locations logged, but since it relies on users to upload info there's undoubtedly a lot of spots missing.
