I've been lifting since I was 17 (doing SS and lurking Veeky Forums during the zyzz and tiny days) didn't really take it seriously until freshman year of college where things happened and depression hit, hence the 155. Now 21 hoping to get to 130 and see more ab definition and then aim to clean bulk to 140~145 after summer is over.

Try Keto, ECA, and cardio to burn some water weight. Maybe carb load the day before your vacation? There's not much you can do besides manipulating water/glycogen/sodium levels to get more of a pump or vascularity.

Doing calisthenics for ~4.5 months, I'm currently at 150lb which is really good for me because I was very ill recently with a stomach issue and dropped down to about 130. I'm moving to a new city in August so I think I might try getting back into a gym then.

I used to lift a lot in high school / early college before getting sick (just graduated recently) and when I tried going back to lifting I kept getting nauseous and light headed.

when was the last time you lifted? Do you still get nauseous? Should see a doctor desu, will be hard to make any progress if everytime you lift you feel like shit. Also could probably lose some bf%, callisthenics and the right diet can help with that but you won't see much muscle gains. good luck with your recovery.

For only 5 months bodyweight work at your height/weight, you look really good.
It might be your HS/college lifting base.

On your 130->150 transition you've put on some fat, you might want to drop a few lbs to get a "sharper" look for summer till you move in August.

The last time I lifted was, I think, late 2015. I think my current bodyweight routine is a good set-up for trying weights again. Although being able to do 8 handstand pushups leaning against a wall feels pretty slick senpai.

I don't get nauseous anymore from my current routine, but I do get some heartburn sometimes. I've seen quite a few doctors.

Thanks. Though honestly I'm not super worried about my summer look, I'd rather focus on putting on more weight slowly starting now, since it's hard for me to eat a lot of food. I've got a lot of meal planning I need to do if I want to seriously get backing into lifting and putting on mass.

BF% plays a large role in vascularity but one thing that usually doesn't get mentioned is simply the amount of time training. Way back when I first started and cut to single digits skelly-lean (see pic) they still weren't as obvious as they are now, even when higher bf. I can actually see mine as high as 14-15% nowadays, but around 10% or lower is when they get really pronounced all times of the day, no pump, etc.

NP. Dieting is a very simple numbers game once you know the formulas. Weight loss isn't some mysterious roll of the dice each week to see how much you lose like normies wish it was. With the right info on hand and correct practice of recalibrating your tdee/deficit every week or two you can project your weight loss within +- 2-3lbs as far as 6 months out. This is basically the information the uninformed average person at the gym pays a dietician/trainer to calculate.
