Usually i like rest days but right now im kinda bummed

Just got back, had an interesting conversation with a dude

He said that if you use an olympic bar it's only used as balance and you are only actually lifting more than 20 kg if the weight you put on is more than 20 kg

If you add 5 kg on each side the bar cancels it out and you're still lifting the weight of an empty olympic bar.

Today is leg day.

Squats - 8-5-3-1
Front squats - 5x5
Lunges - 5x5
Leg extensions - 4x8
Calf raises - 4x8
Overhead press - 5x5
Shoulder side raises - 4x8
Shoulder front raises - 4x8

Might do some ab work after, but not sure.

If I go to my gym between 6-9, I'll be waiting 45 minutes to use a machine, bench, or rack.

Planned rest days are a meme. Major muscles don't need more than 2-3 days for recovery. The only time you should skip is when your schedule doesn't permit it or super hung over
