How much difference can it make when a three day split (upper/lower), let's say Monday, Wednesday and Friday have to be mixed ocassionaly because lack of time or feeling really tired to let's say Thursday/Friday/Saturday? I guess not skipping the workout it is the priority but how detrimental would it be to the effectiveness of my lifts and my physique? Thanks!

First time PLG poster here. Been lifting consistently for about 1.5 years now and I'm 5'11 and 193 lbs and gradually dropping.
I've been stuck at 385 deadlift for 2 months. Is it possible to get lean while gaining strength? Do I just need to up my protein intake?
I bike to the gym and OHP before I deadlift if that affects anything. I feel like I should have no problem hitting 1/2/3/4 at 193 and 17% bf

Strength gains on a cut are not common. If you're a massive noob, then yeah, you can, but for someone that's been strength training for a while, it's not likely to happen.
Do volume deadlifts, anyone that tells you that 1x5 is enough is just wrong. I personally do 2x5 and 1xf. If I go over 5 reps on the failure set I'll go up 5lbs. I've been doing this for 2 years now and the last time I tested my max I hit 365lbs (155lbs bw).

Is it true that it is easier to make gains when lean? Also my cardio sucks balls. Will improving that help my deadlift?

Had a 5kg bench gym pr today. Not bad, but I was hoping for a little more somewhere closer to 7.5kg. Probably going to adjust my bench program and take out OHPing (it's near worthless for benching, but I like doing it (and I have a laughable OHP ~110kg)). I'd love to hit a 3 plate ohp one day.

Legit never seen more than 1 plate by anyone at my gym, there is one guy who does like 3 plates on the smith machine for quarter reps but lol.

It's standing, no cheating or anything. And there's a handful of guys that can do 225 at my gym. My friend that passed out going for 230 hit it two or three weeks later easy.

i just do five or 6 heavy singles then do a set of 5 or so. after that usually 3 sets of 5 at deficit or romanian. i only deadlift once per week and try to PR every week depending on how i feel

You're way too fat to be losing strength already.
I lost strength on my deadlift and squat almost immediately. Ohp and bench didn't tank until midway through my second 5/3/1 cycle. I was ~23% body fat when I measured 3 lbs ago, can't be much less than 22% at this point.

That's not really the same thing as losing strength, I feel like he'd be back to normal if he ate a good large meal, but still, it's hard to lift the weights you used to lift if you're on like a 750kcal deficit

Losing weight does weird things to the squat - especially if you're down more than 30 pounds.
The slightest shift in your center of gravity can really wreck your form, you know?

Actually form massively improved. I dive bombed the fuck out of my squat when I did 295x5, going to 295x3 with form improvement and control, with no dive bombing isn't too terrible. Deadlift got the worst of it though. 365x5 to 310x5

Breh, I started at 215 and I'm cutting to 175-180. You could do a slow cut so you'd progress with less difficultly than a full cut like me. Imo it's worth it, because I'll look half way decent and I'll be able to bulk sustainably for a long time after. But you do you friendo

What to do? My gym have this mother fucker, picture related. Bench is so soft it's like sponge and racking bar is fucking horrible and you can't even change what height you can't the bar.
