I was okay. I was in the special orders department which was basically if someone wanted special boxes or display items then we would put them together. It wasn't the actual warehouse. I think that might have been part of the problem because when you're in the same room with someone you've got to talk to them eventually.

So these guys are all old, married, or young want kids etc. All I care about is gains and playing the piano so it's like... what the fuck are we going to talk about? You can only shoot the shit for so long before you just start grating one another if you're too different.

Doing stretches for the relevant parts of your body when the line goes down.

NEVER skip a work out because you're tired. Working out that area seems to get rid of the sharp pain in that area and convert it to dull soreness. My back and shoulders are getting the worst of it, so the day I do OHP and deadlifts is my favorite day of the week.

All I know. Only been doing this a month and only going to do it til the plant shuts down around end of the year.

I work as a caregiver for a elderly person with dementia. The pay is good and I gain some satisfaction helping someone with a mental illness. Plus, I'm always moving around, so plenty of exercise for me.

it'll be a bit harder to find an apprenticeship because lots of these builders are cheap cunts who just want apprentices for cheap. if you're over 21 they have to pay you more.

At our company, the 2 apprentices are 22 and 27 years old. A lot of companies prefer older guys because they generally work harder and are more focused on the job compared to some 16 year old fuckwit straight out of year 10.

I reckon you try do a bit of labouring at first to see how you like it, since your 1st year of the apprenticeship will pretty much be a labouring job anyway
