dropped like a hot potato

Some of the gym regulars have been going out of their way to compliment my efforts and remark on gains and/or ask if I am juicing.

They're impressed an Ottermode is pushing around the weights I am, some of them say.

Not "making it" yet, but at least my DYEL arms have gone from 11 inches to 13.5 since January and that looks pretty good on my narrow Sami frame.

That girls nose is very odd

Who dis?

:(

some cosplay/twitch chick.

No.

But in my defense, I didn't start at New Years.

this girl lost a shit ton of weight. I think if she keeps going she will be a true 10/10

for got pic

>those thighs

Yeah
I broke up with my gf & started to eat my feelings
I'm up 15 pounds from 160
I can bench lmao2pl8?!?! now
p good feel

Can't say I lost as much fat as I promised myself I would but I've definitely gotten stronger and the fat looks like something I can polish off at the end of summer. Feels good, I used to be extremely fat now I'm just pudgy with noob gains. That's not so bad for a year and a half right?

>break up with gf last September
>relationship wasn't perfect, but it was really endless long-distance that broke it apart
>realise I can now go fuck girls
>nearly 1 year later, haven't so much as held hands with a girl
>been on 2 coffee dates from Tinder, nothing else
>two possible hookups, but they're both in my hometown
>social circle based around work in new city, but atmosphere in work has got terrible so social circle has kind of collapsed, no one wants to be there or go out and socialise
>completely alone, miss gf but will feel like a cuck failure if I go back to her

I HAVE gotten a lot fitter lately, definitely looking better, but literally no girls for me to capitalise on this with.

I miss the feel of a warm body, haven't felt it for nearly a year now.

Yeah my life and body is the best it's ever been

Good job man :')
Keep tryna make it. Even when the gains slow down, push through. We're all gonna make it.

I would enroll this fat bitch in boner school

Find out faggot

Of course

But it requires you fucking go and do it.

I usually find that clean house = clean mind, but maybe that's just me. When my house is messy as fuck, it usually means I'm in bad shape mentally

I'm in the best shape of my life and I got a gf recently so life is pretty good.

they're not fake you tard

>getting tricked by angles

lol

Closer than I was 6 months ago.

Well, I've lost 20 pounds and managed to keep it off, despite eating horribly still.

I'm still very far from my goal but I look vastly better than I did when I started 6 months ago.

My biggest struggle has been eating enough and gaining overall body size but I've gained a few pounds since I started, look pretty damn muscular, and I'm also stronger than ever but still weak as fuck compared to the average fatty 1 week into lifting.

Being Ecto, 5'11, 135lbs is suffering.

I've almost bulked up to overweight BMI and I can still barely see my abs so I'm doing ok. That'll be my first goal. Not sure what my next goal will be yet

finally hit 315 bench. 225 felt pretty special to me, and a couple years ago i never would have thought i could make it to 3 plate. i know it's not too special but it feels good after being a skinny weakling for most of my life. i don't think it would have happened without Veeky Forums.

thank you

>haven't felt it for nearly a year now.
Mfw the last time I kissed or had sex with a girl was 1 year ago

Just hit 225 this week. Any tips for 3pl8?

Not op, but patience is key

High volume 30 reps total in squats at least 3 times a week, doesn't matter the set x reps so long as the total is there. Max at least once a month. Once you hit 275 start Smolov and don't be a weak cunt (physically and mentally).

Also passed licensing exam a week ago so I've almost officially made it. Starting to interview for 6 figure salary jobs. :)

I'm on a 5 year dry spell if that makes you feel better by comparison

>recommending smolov ever
>recommending a program that has a high injury risk that can't be ran back to back
>not telling him to hop on any half decent strength training program out there and stick to it while honing in technique, and eating

This is why dyels shouldn't give advice desu

Lol? I've done that program three times now over two years without injury and my race is more proned to back injury. It's pushed my squat to 365 at 160 bw. I am an advocate of high reps so long as you are able to rest. Stretching is huge too. If you are serious about lifting and pushing up your squat especially in a narrow time frame, Smolov is the way to go. The only people that get hurt most likely have shit form or low bar. My total at owl comps is 220 kg at 77 kg. I'm pretty sure you're the dyel that found it too physically demanding because you don't have the mental or physical fortitude.

You can get away with not getting injured because you aren't strong lad, or you're just lucky that you haven't so far.

Yes it's great that it can shoot your numbers up in a short period of time, that's what peaking programs do, but you don't keep all those gains, due to the nature of peaking programs, but you put yourself at large risk of overuse injuries and acute injury due to the constant super high volume and intensity, every person I know that's ran it has come out with at least tendonitis, and one came out with a herniated disk.

The key to strength gains is lifting consistently for a long time, and being "determined" doesn't mean shit if you do stupid shit and get yourself injured doing meme programs like smolov cause "muh hard work and determinayshun"

>Calling me a DYEL
Lmao no, I squat 257.5kg, bench 180kg paused and deadlift 312.5kg
youtu.be/ZhMf8hb2KlA

You will learn that strength training is a marathon, not a sprint, rushing shit will get you injured.

Nope

I cut down to 185 last year.

I go back and forth from 180-185. I'm thinking of getting a membership and beginning lifting on the bulk train.

Yes, my ass is almost 110 cm.
I'm a guy.

>my race is more proned to back injury.
Fucking racist

yea buddy. i got 1 plate press and 3 plate squat this year. goal is currently 1/2/3/4. when i finish that my new goal will be 1 gf

Life is going fucking great

Gettin there mate. It's hard when you do shift work.

awwwwwww fuggggggggggggg

Fugg. Would berry.

>Max at least once a month.
Once a month? Don't you mean once a gym sess?

Why the hell would you max every session?

I do. I'm a DYEL tho. Like 35 kg bench press. Why's it bad to max out every session user?

Ok. You're a 35kg bencher. The rules about maxing out don't really apply to you. It might not be optimal (maxes tend to be ugly and the last thing beginners need is to get ugly ingrained in their form), but it isn't going to beat you down like it would someone stronger.

Once you're past the beginner stages, you don't get stronger by testing your strength on a max attempt (its just not enough work by itself and tends to fuck up anything you'd do afterwards). You get stronger by doing a ton of work over time and then max out once in a while to see where you're at.

When do I know when to stop?

Like multiple reps?

I went through a 2 year dry spell once because my life was shit and I wanted to get it back on track first. It's not a big deal. You'll be fine.

I surpassed them around the 15" arms mark. And my arms looked small.

That was when the others all had at least 20lbs on me. Its fun.
