just recently started and I dont count calories yet, only estimates. I have cut off all soda, candy and all that shit and eat smaller portions and it works so far. I try to stay within 1500-2000kcal.

I recently started to workout so I can workout with my fat younger brother. I was actually planning to kill myself this summer(today) but I want my brother to have a better life than I had so I changed my mind.

He is currently 5'8-5'9 and 225lbs with really fucked up posture and barely any muscle at all.

How do yall have the energy to be eating at less than 2000 calories a day?

I've been cutting at 2300-2500 and can lose at least two pounds a week if I don't fuck up my diet.

I have 0 energy with anything under 2000 even with a pot of coffee a day.

you and op are starving yourselves, calculate your TDEE and cut on a 20% deficit or you'll feel like shit all day and lose a ton of muscle

Yeah breh. Just started mine a few days ago. I'm 28 as well, 170lbs, 6'2", 22% BF. My TDEE is 2500 so I'm aiming for 2k per day, it's pretty reasonable.
