Was he the good guy or the bad guy?

Was he the good guy or the bad guy?

Bad guy

Good guy

idk

elaborate

Can you repeat the question

if youre a generic spqrboo then hes a good guy
if youre a republiboo then hes the worst guy

is it gay to be homosexual?

If you're a Gaul or a Pompey fanboy: Bad

If you're not a fucking faggot and appreciate the truest form of a chad: Good

Objectively bad. He destroyed a lawful republic and replaced it with an authoritarian regime.

Said republic is so corrupt it kills the people who had a point

>lawful republic

You mean a walking corpse that doesn't know it is already dead? Sulla destroyed any sort of lawfulness, if not Caesar someone else would've finished digging its grave.

Our divine saviour who was treacherously killed by the Jews of Rome (the optimates)

F

Good guy, it's just that conservatives hate him because he tried to help the poor and cared about his soldiers and liberals hate him because he acquired total power to fix the Republic and killed dirty savages that liberals always side with.

He was just a guy

Bad guy. His actions led to the destruction of superior Gallic civilization.

He was a God retard

Neither, he was a Great Man. Such people are beyond moral judgements, they are either successful and shape the world around themselves, or they die and are forgotten.

>superior Gallic nation
if they were so superior how did they get destroyed. They were superior in nothing

> He destroyed a lawful republic and replaced it with an authoritarian regime.

You mean the same republic who constantly refused to further any land reforms to help its own citizens at the expense of the ultra-rich?

All anyone needs to know about Caesar is that after the mutiny of his army in Italy after returning from the battle of Zela, he just appeared with some dudes, without any army, and his soldiers started screaming for forgiveness and offering themselves for service without pay.

>Cinna and Marius create a dictatorship
>Sulla creates a dictatorship
>Pompey creates a dictatorship
>wtf Caesar created a dictatorship? Fucking authoritarian faggot he deserved to die #IStandWithBrutus

No

>Muh good guys and bad guys

Get this childish drivel out of here.

Cool guy

There ain't no good guys, there ain't no bad guys, there's only you and me and we just disagree.

t.Cato of Utica

Just because you should leave a wallet on the sidewalk doesn't mean that the guy who takes the wallet is a hero.

This.

Your photo is of the wrong Cato

Barely a good guy. He didn't just take power for it's own sake once he became dictator, he made reforms aimed at improving the functionality of the state, and not just in terms of being better at taking people's money either.

Caesar may have been unscrupulous and arrogant, but his career was never merely a means to his own personal ends. He really wanted to make Rome great again, and his ideas weren't bad either.

He was a better man than anyone on this cesspool of a site could even wish to be.
He's my personal hero.

>Sulla destroyed any sort of lawfulness
Sulla was a fucking hero, shut your whore mouth.

YOURE NOT THE BOSS OF ME NOW

Good goy first and foremost
