Not going for the materialistic world, focusing more on spirituality (not religion), family and community. Also aspiring to be the ubermensch, which is not the "we are a better race, better because we said so " propaganda. It is directly derived from Nietsches (inb4 who?) Übermensch philosophy, which is meant to overcome ones self, not being a slave to your primitive desires and working on yourself to be better than you were yesterday. This holds true for improving your body or your intellect, aspiring to be more, not to have more.

And lifting to get better and stronger (than your former self), which is what most of the people on the board do, basically aligns with the National Socialist and Fascist world view. Also this world view is highly distorted due to post war propaganda for several reasons. First destroying the losing side completely by either extermination or desctruction of the political system is part losing a war and secondly, this world view is the anti-christ to the materialistic debt slavery the rich people developed already since the USA were born and was completed in 1913.

I meant with that not the "materialist vs idealist" world view, but in a sense that people today just focus on buying more shit they don´t need, i.e. consumerism (yes I misused materialism here).

Also what has "enjoying nice things" to do with what we are talking about? Nice things are basically defined by your own personal opinion, what you see as nice might not be nice for others. So of course you can enjoy nice things as long as you don´t break any laws or laws nobody gives a fuck about (like weed).

If you tried going outside and talking with people you'd notice that consumerism isn't that big of an issue as fedora wearing basement dwellers like to say it is.
