It sucks because my dad has enormous forearms and really thick wrists and he's never picked up a dumbbell in his life. Maybe it's because I've only been really working my forearms for a couple months.

You're not hitting em frequently enough, forearms should be damn near daily like abs, because they are meant to be used regularly, and are therefore really durable

They also need volume and intensity. I only do wrist rollers (3 sets both ways, roll it down too), chin ups, deadlifts and farmers carries. I've found at 100+ lbs my forearms are really reaponding
