What're you trying to do and whats your habit like?

It interupts sleep and increases your TDEE, so probably not the greatest for bulking solong as you can push yourself without it

It depends on how much per day youre taking. 2-3 cups would be a little on the high side but nothing crazy. It depends if you see any negative symptoms (anxiety, insomnia, high blood pressure). I would say staying around 200-300 mgs of caffeine per day is a good start. But thats just me brah

Look up the long-term side effects on caffeine. Decide with yourself if you are fine with them or consult a doctor.

The comedowns are not __that__ bad. You will have a terrible headache for a few days (in my experience), and luckily you can just pop a few pills to handle that.

Consult a doctor if you think you are allergic. Don't look up the signs that you are allergic, since most of them occur to most people.

Depends on how hard you went with it. Personally coming on a good 1-2 month run of EC stack, getting up to 1.6 grams of caffeine and 48 mg's of ephedrine per day, coming off of it literally made me want to stick a shotgun in my mouth (a week of migraine like head aches, depression, lethargy). I tried to ween myself off it, sticking to 200 mg's of caffeine and 6 mg's of ephedrine, but even that gave me the above mentioned symptoms.

2.5 months into quitting, I sleep better but I tire quicker. Went full herbal teas, its more of a discipline to me now, pushing through the tired feelings.

From what I have seen, you shouldn't worry as long as you don't exceed the recommended dosis, obviously. If you have some sort of illness that gets worsened by caffeine, you shouldn't be taking it either, of course.

Sounds extreme to be taking 1.6 grams. I have never hit that high of an amount for a longer time period. I was pretty much cruising on 540 mg, sometimes more, sometimes less for about a month. I would definitely not recommend that, and would probably use another supplement or figure out what my problem is, if I were to take 1.6 grams of caffeine.

Remember to keep hydrated once the withdrawals hit you, obviously. It helped me a ton.

If you treat a little caffeine pill as pre workout on bad days it can be good. If you drink one coffee every other morning it doesnt matter. If you're a caffeine addict and you suffer from withdrawals then it will negatively affect lifting just like almost everything else in your life.

I'm studying sports nutrition at Uni. 3gm caffeine per kg of body weight is ideal for a performance advantage. Anymore is a waste / no gains.

This is for elite athletes though. You don't need it and if you do, you need to consider side-effects especially using the dosage for an extended period of time.

My point is, if you look up the symptoms, you will see that anxiety, headache, higher blood pressure, can't concentrate etc. are signs that you might be allergic.

Which are very common thing from what I have seen in my life. I am not a doctor or anything but I highly doubt that the majority of the population is allergic to one of the most common drugs. I could be wrong, however.

That's fine, a lot of people drink coffee before going to bed. Just a small moderate amount to stay productive and then let the comedown kick in to send you off to sleep.

By the end of my cut in June I was up to 400mg caffeine alongside 32mg ephedrine three times daily.

Obviously I had to wean myself off.

First was gradually reducing the ephedrine until I ran out.

By then I was down to 400mg caffeine daily.

These last two weeks I've limited myself to 200mg which is one scoop of preworkout that I reserve for my warm up... Let me tell you these last two weeks I feel like pepe related up to that point.

If I'm not working I can hardly get out of bed before the afternoon and I'm just going through the motions like a zombie.

I have one scoop left of the preworkout.
After that I got a dozen or so 100mg pills.

I'll take one before working out until I run out and quit.

Look up "caffeine insurmountable tolerance", at the point I got you don't even get half the benefits of caffeine.

I don't drink coffee cause I'm already an antsy person so stimulants just make me even more antsy

i used to smesh 500mg before my workout but i didnt like how doing it all at once made me feel so now i do about 150-200 early in the day and about 300 later

Caffeine is great. Only problem is that once you're on 24:7 you're killing yourself faster than need be. Just cut all caffeine except when going for important sports meets and exams.
That is probably a bit better for your health, plus you get dem sweet temp blood pressure gains when you're not an addict.

Australian here, I love my coffee but I have more than four shots of espresso a day (seeing as I have doubles like a regular person, thats two cups) and it starts interfering with my sleep. If its interfering with sleep, I'd call that the high side

Caffeine has two main Veeky Forums purposes, appetite suppression and pre-workout. But they both depend on you not already having a tolerance built up. In other words, they will only work for people who don't normally take in that much caffeine on a daily basis.

It can be depending on the coffee. A latter will have more vaccine that a plain coffee usually, and different roasts destroy certain amounts of the caffine. Also like other user said, people may consider 20oz a "cup" of coffee. Its naive to think a "cup" of coffee is the same to everyone
