Holy shit thank you guys so much for letting me know about this wonderful lift. I feel like Superman every time I go to the gym ever since starting these three days ago:

>start at 1pl8 for 5 reps
>2pl8 at 10 reps the next day
>2.5pl8 at 20 reps with the straight bar and 10 reps with five farmer's walks with the hex bar at 2.5pl8 for 20 paces a time

Hex deadlift isnt the same as normal.

It feels a little easier for me and I can get my farmer's walk in at the same time.

I also do straight bar for max impact.

I feel like the hex bar just works my quads and really doesn't do much for my glutes and hamstrings. I used to use the Hex to pretty much do squats without holding the weight on my traps because I had a fucked shoulder.

Hex deadlift literally is more of a squat than a deadlift.

It should not be called a deadlift and you should not treat it like a deadlift or substitute it as a deadlift.

Your hex SQUATS are not your actual deadlift stats because it is not a deadlift.

Do deads if you want to do deadlifts, do squats if you want to do squats, either proper exercise is 100x better than this.
