Shit. I guess you have to copy and paste it.

>"The 500 lb. maximum would be for the cage itself and the user. The cage weighs 101 lbs, leaving 399 lbs left to place on the bar/cage."

This will be a problem. you can't even squat 4 plates with it. even with lighter weights I guess it could be a problem if you set the weight down quickly.

Power rack and barbell are two things I skimped on when building my home gym, and I ended up replacing both within two years. If you know you're going to stay motivated and will be lifting for a long time, I'd save up. This thing is only rated at 300 lbs from what I can find.

a bunch of bricks.

I wouldn't feel safe alone without the actual full cage desu OP. Don't risk your life for a few shekels.

Im looking for the same thing due to my ceiling being to low for a power rack.
Found this the other day , what do you guys think ?

it obviously has the functional requirements but it looks kinda flimsy to me. if your ceiling is too low for a rack, can you even overhead press?

>Walmart
Enjoy your guillotine

Got this exact model at my gym. Flimsy af and isn't wide enough for Bench {elbows hit the guards)

Titan HD. Bolt it down.

did anyone try to construct the rack rip had in SS?

tip
buy a non oly bar and second hand weights

will cost you a fraction of the price and can be re-sold for what you paid

>buy a non oly bar
but how am i gonna know that it weighs exactly 20kg

i don't know but you're absolutely not allowed to weigh it, that's for sure

non oly bars are usually ~8-10kg

i'm saying they're fine to use because you won't be lifting much anyway

>i'm saying they're fine to use because you won't be lifting much anyway
WORLDSTAAAAR

looks fine. good price too. you can weigh it down with plates or even bolt it down based on the image

>The cage weighs 101 lbs, leaving 399 lbs left to place on the bar/cage

that's not how it works retard. and 500lbs is just rated max which is pretty much just legalese. the thing has got 2" tubing and at least 1/4" holes for the j-clips. it can support plenty of weight

that's fine

look at the pic, it's clearly adjustable width wise. and although there's no plate to drop a bar on you can still weigh it down with sandbags or something

take a look at what newyorkbarbell, christian fitness factory and rep fitness has to offer to name a few. don't get a rack from walmart.

Do it sat on the bench
