Running is too much effort? I run every weekday, even only a mile or 2 on lift days. You burn 100 calories every mile which should take less than 10 minutes even if you're fat, how isn't that great exercise?

yeah I ran for about a year buddy I felt good as well. Then i noticed that i was wasting huge amounts of time on cardio and missing important muscle groups, so i dropped it replaced it with more lifting and my body improved so much faster and felt so much stronger and way more flexable. If you enjoy it fair game to you but there are lots of people that don't and when it comes to building a realy nice body and staying healthy its completely irrelevant
