Warming up with mixed grip is bad, I would say its fine for the working set. But that way you are sabotaging your progress. Why not just use straps then.

Me too, but I found that straight arm squats with kettleballs work with my range of motion.

My physical therapist thinks she isn't working me hard enough if I'm not crying.

I think she is a sadist, but my back and flexibility are much improved.

I do goblet squats with uneven weight distribution (I hold a heavier dumbbell on one side to compensate for my own skewed center of gravity).
End of the day my legs are weaker since I don't squat, but idc I have a gf so it's all good in the end.

I found out I have scoliosis this year. Explains why one side of my back is more muscular than the other, explains why one side of my body takes all my gains. Been doing a lot more single arm stuff now. Switched from conventional to sumo deadlift, lowered the weight, and practiced getting a bit lower. Switched from back squats to front squats. Although Idk how bad you have it, minor adjustments can help.
