Carbs are shit

>eating regular diet at a 1000kcal deficit
>barely loosing 1.5lbs per week
>start doing keto at the same amount of calories
>loosing 6lbs per week
Fucking carbs are poison

>losing 3kg a week
are you sure keto isn't poison?

Or you suck at calculating calories

What is water weight?

My PR's are not suffering, my blood pressure is now stable and I don't have cravings anymore.

Pretty sure carbs are shit.
My TDEE is 3800
Carbs shills pls go.

he's right though

He is not, senpai.

So you still consume 1000kcals but you have eliminated carbs and you saw a rise of 5 pounds loss per week? wtf, i need some clarification here cause im a fat ass 216 pounder that needs to loose all this fat

>my body can't handle this so it's shit
weak genetics detected

op thinks he's violating the laws of thermodynamics based on normal fluctuation in weight based due to removing glycogen stores

it's better to do it on 2 week intervals, because it's bad for your health
I'd rather lose all that with cardio 5 times a week (around 6 months) but you have to test various things and see for yourself what works best for you

>losing 6lbs per week
I seriously hope you guys don't do this.

>loses only water weight
>its just his muscles deflating and being even more invisible
>he finally loses enough "weight" (ie not fat)
>eats a proper well balanced meal
>gains all the weight back

good job fat fuck.

pretty much.

what (very temporary) ketogenic diets are good for:
reducing insulin resistance
not killing diabetics
reducing appetite

what it is not good for:
doing it for the long-term
expecting huge weight loss unrelated to caloric intake

>losing 6lbs a week
enjoy losing your gains

Keto also kills gains. When you do exercise and you don't have enough enough glycogen it will use protein as a fuel source.

let me know how that goes for you OP

1 of 3 things will happen

1) you will lose all the water weight your body can lose and stop losing weight
2) you will lose a shitload of muscle
3) you will lose all your water weight and continue losing weight but at a slower pace than before (most likely scenario)

>Fucking carbs are poison
Only if you're a dumb faggot who stuffs your face with them then sits around and does nothing. Or you could be a cyclist on a road race team like me and you burn all that shit off yet have HUGE quads.

>When you do exercise and you don't have enough enough glycogen it will use protein as a fuel source.
You dumb shit, your muscles will use bodyfat, but it's a slow energy source, so your muscles recover slower between sets.

>what it is not good for:
>doing it for the long-term

>tfw I've been on keto for four years, had two steaks yesterday, and I used it to go from underweight to Veeky Forums
>tfw ketogainz is legit

>All this carb shills
Geez, who would thought that /fi/ is full of food industry agents.

>HUGE quads
Pic with timestamp or you are a liar.

OP here.

Shitpost aside what I'm trying to point out is the fact that being on a regular diet (40% carbs) makes you retain a lot of water.
