Squat only 2 days a week
1st session just squat and go home. No other lifts. Give it all you got. Do an upper body day before or after but just squat on this day.
First do volume 4 or 5 x5 at the heaviest you got perfect form and can do 5 reps. squat tight and fast.
then do a couple of max effort sets with 10lbs added.
go home
other session of the week squat at the end of your workout with a lighter load 3 to 5 sets but using either one of this variants
- 3 sec pause at the bottom squats
- 2 sec pause front squats
and drive up fast and powerful
it WILL go up

Greg Nuckols has a good article on this. At a high level, powerlifters tend to squat more than they deadlift.
I am a pretty tall guy and my femurs are literally 1/3 of my length. Squatting highbar with full ROM drastically reduces the weight I can move and makes me very injury prone in my knees.
