I was doing deads, but stiff-legged with a snatch grip. I don't have enough weight in bumpers right now to work up to my conventional 5rm, so using this variation helps to keep the difficulty similar while using a much lighter weight.

squat 3-4x per week, Bench 3-4x per week, dead 1-2x per week. accessories by feel as I have time and energy. low intensity steady state cardio 25 min per day on average.

thanks. yeah, I'm natty. I do mostly behind the neck press these days. I feel like all the benching I do hits front delts enough. I unrack the bar like I'm going to squat, and press from there; that way if I'm going to fail a rep, the weight isn't going to force my shoulders into snap city.

with PPL I can't find any other day to work shoulders that gives my rotator cuff ample time to recover.

just try to find a comfortable starting position, and start light. you're not going to be able to do the same weight as a standard OHP.

I don't really do lateral raises. did for a long time, but they mostly hit side delts. rear delts are important for both symmetry and preventing impingement.

other possible lfits: face pulls, reverse pec deck.

also, if you're needing more recovery time, try changing up things and save the shoulder stuff till after tris.
