Been lifting and eating well for 6 months, started at 55kg and am 61kg today. Some days it just feels so fucking good to look at the mirror, but there are days that I just want to break it, don't know if I'm getting paranoid or something. Does anyone have this problem too?
Also, I read in the sticky that one can only build 1kg of lean mass (muscle) per month, does that mean I'm making it?

Forgot to add, I'm 173 cm short

If you start from skelly you can gain like 35 lb in a year depending on your height.

Ive been lift for 4 months now, Im 1.93m, and used to weight 75kg, now Im 85kg

are my gains starting to show? i know im fatter also, im gonna start cutting carbs to reduce bf(i think its about 20% or more)

i only missed gym a day in those 4 months

Lifting for about two months now, not too sure. I'm somewhere between 55g-60kg @ 6'0. Skeletor as fuck.

Started to bench press 10kg dumbbells, just barely achieved the straightbar with no weights (20kg), looked dyel as fuck but who gives two shits about what anyone else thinks? Just came back from the gym now after doing 17.5 kg dumbbells, just shy of doing 40kg straight bar and do 70kg weighted dips (lol I know, yes, I'm doing full reps). Looks like I'll double my strength in under a year.

I'm ectomorphic as fuck so I don't look any different. Again, who gives a fuck? I'm NEET so it's not like I've got women to impress. I might take progress pictures tonight though.

Honestly, avoid looking at mirrors, find a better reason to lift than looks. Narcissism will basically assure that you end up stopping in your late 30s because so old.

If lifting is just who you are, you'll lift until your doctor tells you to stop... Late 60s.

you're not going to make it by cutting carbs, shyamalan.

go on a strength routine and measure your progress by strength gains. when you plateau, move on to a higher volume program. that's when the gains will be obvious.

well, i already changed my routine, but im focusing more on upper body now. i go to gym 4 times/week and might be eating 3000cal/day. i eat a lot of chicken breast, eggs and drink about 1liter milk everyday

The only way to progress at the gym is to constantly set new goals, so when you reach each one its not entirely satisfying.

First I just wanted 1pl8, then just 185, now 225.
Same with OHP, Squat, Diddy and so on.

You'll never be satisfied at the gym. Just keep in mind that you'll not want to gain more than 3-4 lbs in a month, and that if you're buying your on food you should be counting calories/price.

dont cut, at most eat maintenance and lift more.

Manlet or not that is almost the body target nowdays and for your age girls will love that body.
