If you want to stop being fat then eat healthy food, and steadily improve athletic performance. Calorie restriction only works if you want a soft shitty scrawny body OR in progressive amounts in a bodybuilding context.

If you want to tighten up your lardass then play sports, lift heavy weight, eat clean, get a dog and walk with him every day, practice a martial art, go swimming, bike with friends, go camping, just overall lead a healthier lifestyle.
